Oregon fans should be mad. I would be... But the real question is: Why the hell are Oregon fans calling a news station to complain?

They shouldn't have fvcking lost to Stanford. Had they taken care of business, it would have been them spanking ND tonight.

aTm played their schedule, with Bama on it, w/o a bye week. They were coming off of LSU, Auburn (away), and MSU away, and Bama was their 3rd straight away gm.

Nobody would've beat Bama's OL last night, though.

Oregon couldn't even put up 20 on a mediocre Auburn defense. What makes them think they can play with Bama?

Oregon was the 2nd best team in the country, ND's soft schedule screwed them over.

I'm not so sure that at the end of this season, the 2nd best team in the country isn't TAAMU/UO as 2a/2b.

I def think that Oregon would have been a much tougher matchup. If you look at Standford or early int he KS game before they wore down a stout D can really slow them down. I think that Bama has the depth that KS doesnt and better athletes on the 2nd level then Stanford so would be good to watch but still think Bama wins....It would not have been a blowout at all like ND game

Also just a quick note I don't think anyone was going to hang with bama the way they played last night but we will never know who would have won between bama and Oregon.

The best two teams are Oregon and Bama. I don't think we would've had much of a shot in the current system, but with the playoff and Bama only having a week or so to prep, Oregon could beat them on the right night. People are making too big of a deal out of the Stanford game. I honestly think Oregon just had an off night. Just like Bama had a bad day against A&M (A&M deserves credit for that though, as does furd) and ND had a bad game against Pitt. Most teams have at least one a year. ND was just fortunate to find a way to win that day and they deserved a spot in Miami. The BCS didn't pick the wrong team, it's just a bad system.

On a related note, in 4 of the past 12 years, the losing team of the Stanford-Oregon game has been held out of the title game because of that loss. That's crazy.

We're mad cause had we won that game I have little doubt we would have won our first national championship.
