Ducks want Bama...

  • THIS season's USC team scored 51 points on the floats...51 POINTS!!! No shitty defense like that will ever win a National Championship. - signed, our 2005 rag tag injured defense

Right, the same Auburn team that Beotch slapped the SEC that year and barely beat us! roflmao

You have been unable to defeat any team with a good defense....your OOC wins/losses is less than impressive - in your "championship years".

When are you people ever going to learn, winning in the PAC gains no respect outside the conference...you have to kick serious ass outside it to have any kind of national relevance.

We learned that over 80 years ago..PAC championships mean zero.

    They wouldn't have spanked ND.

ND and Stanford are basically the same team.

If we played as bad on D as we did last night it would get ugly fast. I'd bet money I saw more missed tackles against Bama than I've seen all year combined.

Don't have to, the trophy case that the entire Heritage Hall will become, says it all.

And yours? during your supposed "championship years" ? Empty...but, participation awards are good enough for the floats...or "12-0" shirts after losing a national championship.

The news station here in Hawaii said they were getting numerous texts and calls from Oregon fans mad they weren't playing in the game tonight.

Do Oregon fans on here really wish they would've gone up against Bama? Be real with it son...

Ay yi yi. Ducks would have given Bama a much better game than ND but in the end it would have been the Bama beef show.

Kazzu? I wanted. Guaranteed V. ND I wanted. Def not a guaranteed win but it would have been a great game.

In the end I'm more than fine with how it shaked out. Oregon should not have lost. Their schedule was cupcake. They basically had the entire season to prepare for only two teams - SC and Stanford. Stanford, the same team they pummeled the year before, in Stanford's yard, with Luck at the helm. It's meaningless that ND in the end was a pretender. They took care of business in the regular season. Ducks did not.

Definitely not the same talent. This Duck team was far more talented than 2010. And their scheme is meaningless... Bama wouldn't beat Oregon because of Oregon's scheme. They would beat Oregon because Bama's lines look like the goddamn 49'ers.

    brem22

  • 40 days to prepare... Oregon couldn't hold our jock. We would have rushed for like 10,000 yards on them.

Oregon should have run Stanford out of the building. Stanford didn't win because they played SEC-style power football - Oregon destroyed Stanford two years in a row when Stanford was far stronger and Oregon was arguably weaker.

Agree that ND and Stanford are essentially the same team. Why I think that given another go around they would have performed much, much better.

Stanford's front seven got a lot better in 2012 than it was the previous two years, especially when they got Skov back.

    He makes that defense go.

Stop while your still so behind. What have you done lately? What? CFB comes in cycles you know...lets then compare stats and wins during our last "championship seasons" That is a good indicator.

    Also this...

"You just keep on clinging to those shattered dreams! Our D was in sad shape that day playing true freshmen for the first time even, yet we set all kinds on records on your sorry a__! roflmao"

We played two true freshmen on defense last season when we beat you in your smelly pond. So?

As to the last..there are lies, damn lies and statistics. You laid a bunch of points on us, true...yet you only won by 11 points - bad, horrible by USC standards, but not impressive for basically a video game match up. Both defenses sucked big time, your offense was just 11 points better, lol.

I think the change in QB and benching Nunes helped Stanford. Imagine if the change had happened in the beginning of the season, with all that time to develop a young QB?

Projected wins, or what ifs don't mean anything at all. Stanford could have blown the doors off oregon, or not. Too bad, the game is already in the books.

You're delusional. Your offense sucks versus athletic, fast, and physical teams.

The front 7 being better is arguable, but the order of magnitude wasn't off the charts. And their offense was appreciably worse. Skov has always been money.

Regardless, it's not like that front 7 swallowed Oregon's O line or was blowing up every play at the exchange. Stanford came with a great game plan, tackled insanely well and tracked everything down on the perimeter. And Chip's play calling was pretty pig headed. I just don't think that if they matched up again the outcome would be even remotely the same.

Oh no doubt sitting Nunes helped.

Yeah, in the end this is not about Stanford or how Oregon coulda, shoulda, woulda played them on a different day. This was only about how I think Oregon would have matched up with ND. Would have been a good game IMO.

float fans (sans Brem) have to be the most ignorant CFB fans on the face of the planet. Admit you can't win outside the conference, the PAC has not fielded one program, with a defense worth a damn, sans Stanford (which fields a bunch of brainiacs), and USC when we're playing Trojan football - we haven't, we admit it. The floats are nothing to aspire to, and I'm glad I'm on record from the beginning of the season, that Alabama is the team to strive to beat - not a bunch of sissy costume changing little video game players. More shame to us for losing to you clowns.

    Agreed it would have.

Nobody in cfb would've been a good match for Bama last night. Good lord.
