  • Yea we had a post about it on Bol from a guy that was there. I'd go find it, but I'm lazy this morning lol. Basically he said that guy refuses to buy in to what we do here to be successful and he will never play a down for us, period. The poster said Saban was joking around and lighthearted and that question was asked and he was pissed when he said that.

    kids skills may have been amazing, but who would have known? He never stepped foot on the field at Bama, i cant believe someone would say "best reciever on the team"...when the staff couldnt even tell you if he could crack the starting WR lineup. Thats pretty stupid

    Believe me i know some fans are stupid without any knowledge of the game ("You live under a rock brah" - Please try once to make a post without attacking someone) but yea i never believed he would see the field, and neither did i think he was going to be a stud..maybe not even a starter. Good measureables, but who knows what he could have done.

    But i had life handed on a silver platter no doubt, and i wrecked nearly all of it cause i had a attitude that couldn't be shaken until life got real

    When you add the lifestyle and fame these kids get its continues to blind them and with that kind of attitude its only a matter of time

    Duron was an obvious case of this to anybody that paid attention or can spot it

    If you are good and play at STA you will be offered by at least 1 of the big 3, and this kid had a hall of fame daddy ( only reason he even played at STA ) .... And still the big 3 said no thanks cause it was obvious he was trouble and not even that good

    You definitely took that way to literall IF that was ever actually said. Not one Bama fan said or thought he was the next coming of Julio, but to say that having a 6'4 talented WR wouldn't ease the pain of loosing arguably the top WR of his years in college, is absurd. So quit trying to make Bama fans look ignorant or like we all think no matter what we're the best.

  • Oh well. We won a national title without him last year and our #1 WR was a 5'10 guy who didn't get drafted. I thought he'd eventually get his sh*t together and be a good WR for us but whatever...bye, Duron!
