Reggie Miller never left the Pacers to find a championship. He worked his ass off for Indiana his entire career, and loved the city of Indy, and they loved him for staying loyal. Patrick Ewing never looked to be traded to the Bulls to play with Jordan. He was a Knick until the end, and tried his ass off to dethrone the bulls.
God I miss the NBA. The REAL NBA. I would look forward to the Knicks vs. Heat just because of the passion that went into that game. Even in the regular season. Now its just a bunch of thrown together stars that don't give a damn until the playoffs.

And yes Les I know plenty about the Pelicans. I know Austin Rivers at #10 was lulz worthy, I know Eric Gordon wants out of there, and I know if I was Anthony Davis I'd be on the first train out of there.

Gordon has another 4 years.. No indication that Davis is leaving.. This is Benson's first NBA season so how can you say he's a bad owner? Hornets have a TON of cap room and can add another max player in the offseason.. If you add an All-Star with this cap to go with AD, Gordon and Ryan Anderson.. Pelicans will be a solid team for sure.
I dont see why a team name makes you a bad owner or has anything to do with anything on the court but whatever.. CP3 had every right to leave. No one was sure if NO would stay in NO but now they're guaranteed to stay for a long time.. When CP3 was here, we had TERRIBLE owners and coaches, not so much anymore.
Think what you want but if they pick up another Max player, there's absolutely no doubt this team will be very solid next season.. Also the 2nd youngest team in the NBA.

Also LULZ at Ryan Anderson. Big white men who can shoot are a dime a dozen, sure he can rebound a bit but his defense is still terrible. Imagine him on the floor against the Heat or the Lakers in a playoff series

There is no true free agency in the NBA anymore because of the Bird rights so the Lakers will just sign and trade him somewhere else if he wants a max deal which he will.
Fine with me IMO. This team is too old, unathletic and has no bench. Swap him for some pieces and rebuild.
