EJ Levenberry to visit FSU and Michigan....

  • FSU from April 2nd thru April 5th and then Michigan April 12th and 13th.

    Seems like it will be a big battle between those two teams. Wondering if a third team really emerges.

    All this per Farrell's twitter and FSU's 247 site.

  • Apparently, Michigan coaches must be confident in landing EJ Levenberry and Ben Gedeon because they've reportedly been telling highly-regarded LB targets (Anzalone, O'Daniel among others) that they're full at the position.

    I think its more along the lines of we were only planning on taking 2 LBs (which is why Gedeon is assumed to be a silent commit), but if we were going to take one more it would be Levenberry or bust.

    Gotcha. If its a him or bust situation I can feel ya there. Levenberry LOVES FSU and was a heavy lean before we didn't call him for a month. No reason why, we just had some phone tag and our coaches didn't try too hard.

    They are continuing to recruit other players but have told them they are full right now. Unofficial visits are paid for by the player and their family and it is not fair to the recruit to have them pay if there are currently no spots available. Some have chosen to come anyway, like McGowen (OL from IL). I believe you will see some more LB recruits on campus for official visits this fall.

    And Michigan does feel good about landing one of Gedeon and Levenberry. They will be ecstatic to get both, but aren't counting on it.

    Yes, it is way too early to be turning kids away.. have to keep yer options open.
