Your post was believable until TCU.

Nobody has even seen them in a "real" conference yet.

The Georgia/Texas tossup is what I laughed at the most.

At least you're realistic of your horrible QB situation and soft as butter dline. That defense has been soft for a while.

lol - ok. #11 in total d last year is super soft, especially in a conference built on offense.

Regardless of what you think. There is only one team that has beaten a ranked team.

You did just list 3 teams that are more impressive wins than anything the Big12 has.

Baylor goes on the road to ULM, pretty soon.

One of the things I like to look at in comparing conferences is OOC road wins, and OOC home losses.

The SEC has 0 road wins, and 1 home loss, the PAC-12 has 2 road wins, and 2 home losses, the Big-12 has 3 road wins, and 1 home loss. One of the PAC-12 road wins is vs a non-bcs, and 2 of the Big-12 wins are vs non-bcs.

You were also the #1 rushing defense when we ran 2 100 yard RBs on the field against you a few years ago.

You can be soft in the Big12.

  • More delusional "analysis" from MarineMountie. There's a surprise.

    Bom274

  • the proof isnt in the undefeated national champions from the SEC, the proof is the several years where an SEC team made it to the National championship game with one (or 2) conference losses and the entire country screamed foul that a one loss florida or 2 loss lsu could even be considered, that those teams went on to make the games blowouts and stompings. the middle of the SEC looks so mediocre because the SEC beats up on themselves. and while yes we do lose some bowl games we win the majority (speaking of middle pack SEC do any of yall big 12 faithful remember that amazing texas tech team that got "cheated" out of a BCS appearence and then lost to a 8-4 Ole Miss team???) point is on any given saturday any team can win but week in and week out the middle of the SEC can rival and top the top of the Big 12....and no i dont believe the Pac-howmanyeverteamstheyhave and the irrelevant other "Big" conferences are worth mentioning in this conversation

Oh, I get it. You are still whining over me picking my hometown team to beat USCjr. Cry more.

I'm still waiting to hear from someone who the sec has beaten that's worth a crap.

Michigan? Struggled against Air Force. Washington? A perennial .500 team. North Carolina State? Please. Which of those was supposed to be impressive?

What about Vanderbilt, who only lost by 4 points to South Carolina, losing by double digits to Northwestern? What about pig aggy losing to a high school football team?

So basically you are saying the Pac 12 is the best conference?

  • Funny that the Big12 guys think polls are gospel now when all we heard was the b!tching about the BCS standings from last year.

Still waiting on a single AQ team that the Big12 has beaten this year that will even be above .500 in their conference. The ACC could have scheduled a bunch of nobodies and then just said their conference was tough as well, but they didn't.

If only WVU hadn't backed out on the FSU game, maybe we would know something about at least one of the teams in the Big12.

I would definitely have the PAC12 ranked above the Big12, IMO. They at least have some teams that have proven something this year.

  • Geez, at least put Big 10 or PAC 12 at #1 and make it semi-reasonable. Still, the SEC is the steepest league as the bowl games consistently demonstrate.
