ESPN doing a Hard Knocks with Ohio State

ESPN will be doing their version of Hard Knocks with Ohio State and Urban Meyer starting on Aug 14th.
They will show 4 30 minute episodes and a 1hr final episode.
Meyer is already using it as a recruiting tool, bringing kids in for unofficial visits while the cameras are currently running. ESPN agreed to do it if OSU and Meyer allowed them for the 1st time unlimited access to all things Ohio State football.
I always thought it would be interesting to see a college football version of Hard Knocks.

I feel sorry for y'all. They already did pretty much the same thing with us in 2010. That same year we had the most humiliating loss to AU in our history arguably.
Lebron James will never be as good as Michael Jordan, thus we should get rid of his nickname, "The King".

OSU gets an extra 3 hours of exposure that nobody else gets?!
Oh well, we have a bowl game to look forward to... so it all balances out.

My only guess is this ESPN and the media's first all access into Ohio State football program.
When Tressel was there he ran that place like it was Fort Knox. He would allow local media in to do their normal coverage but it was a bunch of fluff. Urban is now opening the doors and allowing all access to the program where Tressel made you pass a Gov't clearance just to pull into the parking lot if you wasn't a former player or a Ohio High School coach.

Are they going to be riding around in police cruisers? Don't get the infatuation with Meyer, had Tebow at UF and the left them with hardly anything at a school that recruits itself... not to mention the all crying and the quitting.

/Why do you say that about STA btw? B/c we got Bosa and CC is an assistant coach?
Even with Tress their, we never got any STA recruits, other than Duron the great.
We'll continue to get our fair share of Florida talent. We won't dominate the state by any mean (we never have or will), but we'll pluck a few good ones outta Florida each year like we always have.
The real recruiting plus with Meyer is not Florida anyways. It's "The south" in general. We'll get more people from NC, SC, Georgia, etc than we ever got.

You UM fans are doing it wrong. You should be bragging about your on-the-field victory over OSU. Bragging about recruiting battles should only be used as a fall-back when you can't beat a team on the field.
