I didn't, but it might just be the fact that I'm incredibly cynical for an 18-year-old. I don't like Romney much, but he's much better than Obama. Unfortunately people living in the right places don't agree with me.

I don't think the Republican leadership wanted to waste Rubio here. He'll be groomed for a run in 2016.

Just out of curiosity, why do you view Romney as better than Obama? I'm interested in the perspective of a first-time voter, since almost every teenager I know who can vote voted for Obama.

im convinced the Dems and Repubs are in cahoots. the Repubs have absolutely thrown the last 2 elections. picking sarah palin was too much for people to handle and prefered a minority to her. romney picks a nobody from a small state to run with and pisses everyone off

I dont think it was pressure...it was the right thing to do. What became the issue was the attempts at nation building there and even worse, in Iraq, which had no direct ties to anything regarding 9-11......that was where Bush went wrong and it is costing us today and will continue to cost us into the next couple decades. Worst decision by a President since........well maybe ever.

I mean, it's no surprise that I support Obama. But it would never cross my mind to speak about a Romney voter like that. I just don't get it. I love the democratic process and the fact people have the opportunity to vote at all.
