Yes. Just like John Gruden, Petrino, Stoops, Goldman, Darby, etc.
Not all, but a lot, of the Auburn fan base has made it look bad with insane predictions and claims - which don't turn out to be true.
Auburn very well may get him. If so, congrats. Theres nothing delusional about thinking he goes to Auburn. What's delusional is thinking Auburn simply has far more money then anyone and no one stands a chance with bidding with you. Thats foolish.
FSU most likely will not be willing to pay anything above 750k for him. We have produced back-to-back top 5 defenses while paying Stoops less then that. EJ has NEVER produced a top 10 defense (that I remember). We aren't going to over pay someone for the hell of it when we've proven we can get results and quality for less then Auburn.

Everybody has their share of delusional fans. A segment of FSU fans proclaiming themselves preseason national champions amost every single year for example.
If FSU cant or wont match the money Auburn is willing to pay, that certainly isnt Auburn's fault
If Auburn has to overpay, it might be because the ACC is a joke of a conference and Auburn could never match the easy path that conference gives FSU toward winning. FSU had their best season in a decade and the 3rd or 4th best team in the SEC beat them down by 20 points in their own stadium. That is a perfect example of the difference in difficulty between the two conferences
GO NOLES!

Thanks for being a perfect example of the Auburn fan I was talking about.
You try to peg Florida as the 3rd or 4th best team in the SEC to try and make the SEC look better (something your team did nothing to help with). Florida is actually either 1st or 2nd best. Nothing less.
The fact you think UF is possibly 4th best lets me know how disconnected with reality you are.

Comical how overrated Florida was until they curb stomped FSU. All we heard is how FSU would kill them and then look what happened. FSU built themself up by beating an average Clemson team at home and doing nothing else.
FWIW, Florida did finish 2nd in the SEC East. There is no denying that.

It is tough to rank Florida above the 3rd best team in the SEC when Alabama is playing for the national championship and Georgia beat Florida head to head and Georgia also represented the eastern division in the SEC championship game
A Florida State fan calling somebody else delusional is the ultimate lulz anyway. You think you are some type of elite powerhoue, but you are so irrelevent that the SEC doesnt even want your sorry asses. Auburn also had more undefeated in the last decade than FSU has had in their entire existence and we have done it in a conference that is 10 times harder than the conference you play in
