Do you think the Moeller QB ends up getting a MAC or better offer? Looked solid yesterday and the announcers were saying that he is coming off an elbow injury that scared coaches away.

He's committed to Marshall for baseball.

  • Does Jamarco Jones have a leader and do you think Mikale Wilson gets a UM offer.

What did you think of Poggi's game this weekend?

He didn't dominate and Gilman struggled as a whole to stop Moeller.

However, and I'm writing this later in my Skyline Chili wrapup, I do think it was easy to see why he was so highly recruited. He looks good on the hoof. He runs really well for a guy his size. He plays with a motor. Is an above average athlete. Comes from a football family. I thought he was quick off the snap. He made some plays in the game.

My preseason prediction is Ohio State will beat Michigan in The Shoe this year, but I reserve the right to change my mind as the season develops.

Ok so after the thread that asked "who has a brighter future; Michigan or Ohio state" and was answered by unbiased observers who ALL said Ohio state. And now Steve thinks we have a better team who will win in "the game" this year.... Will you Michigan fans please get a sense of reality and realize that other people think Ohio state is better....

I think hes going to Marshall on a baseball scholarship.

As a reporter, I don't like to get into the overrated thing.

Underrated guys that come to mind.

Shane Jones, LB, Michigan State commit
    Alex Gall, OL, Miami commit
    Keith Watkins, RB, Northwestern commit
Darrien Howard, LB/DL, West Virginia commit
    Jarrod Clements, DL, Illinois commit
    Sean Welsh, OL, Iowa commit
    Sam Coverdale, OL, Northwestern commit
Darron Lee, S, Ohio State commit
    Dylan Wiesman, OT, Cincinnati commit
    Berkley Edwards, RB, uncommitted

I am one of the Michigan fans still hoping for an offer the Berkley Edwards. Have you anything about a possible offer?

Are you going to be on the road every weekend? Do you have a schedule laid out?

I have a tentative schedule laid out but it's always subject to change.

This weekend I'll see Wisconsin commit Darius Latham and his North Central teammates take on Ben Davis and Indiana commit Antonio Allen.

On Sunday I look forward to going to East St. Louis to see Peoria High and Josh Augusta play Chicago Simeon and Illinois commit Reggie Spearman among others. Memphis Whitehaven also plays East St. Louis in the evening.

Really like what I saw in Booth. Was hoping that Michigan would offer before it is to late.

I know Booth has double-digit offers but it's still early. I think he'd look hard at the Wolverines if they pull the trigger and extend a scholarship. They want to see film from his junior year.

I think Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State and Notre Dame made the biggest impression on Jones during his wave of visits this spring and summer. I think Mikale Wilbon is good enough to play for any team in the country. It's just a matter of will Michigan have a few guys higher on their board? The Wolverines have recently picked up the interest.

Speaking of Augusta. Late last week there were rumblings that MSU actually has a slight lead on in state Illinios. He'd be a huge get for us. Sounds like NCAA clearihg house may be a timing factor and scholarship limitations are a big concern for us right now. it's first come, first served for that spot. Who waits longer, transfer Peko, or Augusta?

That doesn't mean I think Ohio State wins in two years. Both teams are doing a fantastic job of building their program by landing difference makers in the trenches. This rivalry looks like it will be as good as new under Coach Meyer and Coach Hoke.

Nothing has developed there to my knowledge. Michigan is in position to land Derrick Green and Laquon Treadwell and basically call it a class.

I've thought for awhile it was an Illinois-Michigan State battle for Augusta. I do like where the Spartans stand but we'll see after he takes some official visits. Peko also favors the Spartans but it doesn't sound like he'll decide until after his JUCO season. Not sure who will pop first as they both plan to wait.

A lot of the guys we've already talked about in this thread and then of course Michael Ferns who is committed.

    Mason Cole likes Michigan.
Jay Hayes is high on Michigan.
    Tommy Doles of course.
Nic Weishar enjoyed his visit to Michigan.
Joe Henderson and Corey Holmes have the Wolverines near the top of their lists.

The day he committed to Pitt I reported that Corey would take official visits. Wisconsin and Notre Dame are two schools consistently mentioned as players for Clement besides the Panthers.

Heard that Ben Davis has an impressive looking QB. What do you know about him and what level of prospect is he? Is Jeff George's son starting at WC yet? What are his measurements and does he have his fathers arm? When will you be watching Luers play?

    Steve,
You guys seem to like the upside of Demetrius Cooper. In your opinion, what do you need to see from him this season to get him all the way into the lower 4 star range? He seemed to have alot of people talking as a sophomore and then missed so much of his junior season he disappeared until the camp circuit.
