Alabama commit Derrick Henry & Florida pledge Will Grier were among several prospects across the country to post video-game numbers during the fall. 247Sports takes a look.

  • Steve, I think you are forgetting Thomas Tyner. He had over 3,400 hundred yards this year including 643 yds in one game with 10 TD's. He should be third on the list. There are a couple of different numbers out there for him, but here are his game by game numbers = 3415.

Also, if Chip Kelly leaves Oregon, do you think there is any way that Urban Meyer could make a late run at Tyner? I have never heard him mention OSU specifically, but Meyer is so relentless and he is supposedly already making a run at Dontre Wilson so why not pitch to Tyner who in my opinion is definitely one of the top three backs in the 2013 class with Henry and Isaac.

Thomas Tyner was named the 6A offensive player of the year

Thomas Tyner is named offensive player of the year that 6A level while various other Oregon commits and targets get accolades.

I don't see it. It's just so late in the game.

Unless Coach Cam goes with Chip, Tyner will stay, imo. Our backs always build a great relationship with Campbell and Tyner is no different.

Dontre is also quoted as saying he will stick as long as Cam is here. He's been here 20+ years so I think we're safe.

It'll be interesting to see how it really shakes out when/if chip leaves.

  • No Shane Morris? I heard his 2012 stats were ridiculous.

  • If Oregon gets hammered by the NCAA and Kelly leaves, I don't think it matters who stays or who goes.

As for Chip leaving nobody knows what he's going to do. With the sanctions hanging over, I really don't see Chip pulling a Petey Carrol and bailing out. I think he'll stick through the sanctions with his kids.

Plus I think he'll want to stick around for Mariota, DAT and Tyners college careers. These three kids are his dream players. I think Chip's flirting with the NFL is to get a feel for how much he is worth and to get an idea of how much control he could get from an NFL team.

Also, him flirting with the NFL will make Oregon up his paycheck. I think Chip stays at Oregon for as long as the probation lasts. Four more years would give him time with Mariota and four years to win a Crystal Ball or two.

I don't see Oregon getting hit any harder then Ohio St. I think their punishments will be similar. I still think Oregon has the chance to slide out of a bowl ban, but if not it won't be more then one year. Oregon won't be hit hard enough to slow anything down imo.

As for Tyner and Wilson flipping to Ohio State? Not happening. They're Ducks!!!

  • Is Harris rated higher than Quinn because of his height and his ability to play on the outside? Thanks, great article.
