FF Week 14 Sit/Start

  • Okay, first round of the playoffs. Here's what I've got:

    QB Peyton Manning
    RB Ray Rice
    RB Alfred Morris
    WR Andre Johnson
    WR Hakeem Nicks
    Flex Stevan Ridley
    TE Jermaine Gresham
    K Connor Barth
    DST Tampa Bay

    Bench

    QB Colin Kaepernick
    RB LeSean McCoy
    WR Randall Cobb
    WR Miles Austin
    TE Martellus Bennett
    DST Cincinnati

    Any changes? The main thing I'm considering is starting Marty Bennett in my Flex over Ridley, since NE plays Houston and NYG plays the atrocious Saints D. Plus, Week 14 is about the time Eli decides to start doing well.

  • You may want to think about playing Cobb. He torches the Lions and the game should be a shootout. Possibly switch him and Ridley. Houston has a great run defense, especially in fantasy football. Brady should be able to pass all night long on Houston. Is your league PPR? Bennett would be a good play too. He and Manning are starting to click and like you said, the Saints D is atrocious.

    No PPR, standard scoring.

    My only concern with Cobb is his production falling now that the GB WR corp is getting fully healthy.

    Jordy as of right now is probably not going to play. Jennings is back but Cobb is a fixture in that offense for now on. Since it is not a PPR league, I would probably go with Bennett. Cobb gets a decent amount of short receptions so he is better suited in PPR formats right now. Bennett is killing it now though. I picked him up two weeks ago for the playoff push. I did not regret that last week.
