He knows that the Big 12 makes more. That is what counts. Your little heart must be breaking.

Does he know the SEC makes the same amount of money as the ACC now?

The SEC is going to be getting a nice bump up when they renegotiate, so they will be making more ... PLUS they can sell their tier 3 rights, ACC schools cannot. This is a horrible deal the ACC struck, they should have dispersed their rights amongst more than one TV entity. and shouldn't have given away ALL their content lock, stock and barrel. fingergun

  • FSU is one of the main reasons the ACC has got a bad deal. Between them and Miami they have not lived up to expectations.

Not buying this. The Big 12 just lost 3 states from it's footprint and a good A&M program, while UT was struggling, and still has a better deal.

It's this type of mentality that fuels the fire. Why can't the other programs be expected to carry their weight like Baylor, OSU, and KSU have started doing?

That is absolutely true and falls squarely on Bobby Bowden who led a charade in Tallahassee his last 5-7 years there.

The ACC has hampered us as well though. It's cyclical in the blame.

I agree with that, but the ACC needs FSU and Miami to be powerhouses. Without that they are not going to get a good TV deal. I'd say the average ACC team is better than they were in the 90s but the top is worse.

I agree and as an FSU fan I've said what you're saying a million times. But since the layout is what it is we need to get out.

UT is the undeniable flagship university in the State of Texas, FSU cannot say the same thing.
