I'd be a little skiddish of taking any assistants to be DCs from Bama. Worked out terribly for Tenn... Glad he is out of the state though he is a heck of a recruiter.

lol at FSU. They strike out on Ellis Johnson and their replacement is a guy who was an assistant high school coach two or three years ago. Dont care how awesome bammers think he is. Kevin Steele was also awesome under Saban at bammer, but his defenses sucked at Clemson

ok auburn fans cant say shit about coaches. you keep trying to raid our staff and our guys keep saying no. what does that say about your program? gus malzahn was a highschool coach a few years ago as well if i remember correctly. if our "high school coach" fails we can can him and bring someone in quickly. if yours fails it damages your program even worse.

Yeah but we got Ellis Johnson and Gus Mazahn ran his offense to a national championship. Jeremy Preutt is nothing more than a lackey for Saban. Ask Tennessee and Clemson how hiring a Saban lackey to run their defense worked out for them. Those coaches had much more college experience than Jeremy Preutt has

Dang, we hired Jimbo, a saban assistant, and he has been just putrid. I mean, we are going to a BCS bowl. I wish we could have been as great as Auburn this year. We have only won more games this one season than they have in the past 2 seasons combined. Damn, wish we could be Plainsmen. Then, they want to be like us so bad that they try to hire away one of their alums. He sees the dumpster fire and will not go back to his alma mater, even with more money offered by Auburn. Wuh eegul, baybee.
On top of this, Kirby Smart interviewed for the AU job. So, Auburn wanted a Nick Saban follower too. Dang sucks to be Auburn.....

You can spare me how great FSU or any ACC team is. This is the worst Auburn team in my lifetime and we only lose to Clemson by 6 or 7 points on a neutral field. They are the 2nd best team in the ACC. Kind of shows what garbage the entire ACC is as a conference

Yes, because that would make such a difference. AU was statistically the worst SEC team of all time and they almost beat Clemson. It doesn't get any worse than that. Hoover High School had a chance to beat Clemson and FSU this season, Watkins or no Watkins.

Yes it would have made a difference with Watkins in the game. The only real other option Clemson had at receiver was Nuke Hopkins and Brandon Ford(Tight End) and both looked good against Auburn. If they had Watkins it would have been more of an impact since he is more versital than Hopkins. Also at you thinking any high school team has a chance at beating any college team.
