    We (Noles247) briefly had a post citing Gatewood as stating he felt it was a FSU/UM battle, but we quickly deleted it as it was a miscommunication between Josh Newberg and Luke Stampini (who was at the school today). The FSU/UM comment had to do with him attending this weekend's game, not that he had narrowed his list

    Whatever you want to say, but sure seems like you're hurt about it if he did (I'd argue he was showing the board what the gameday atmosphere at Miami is like and why Alex would like Wisconsin's atmosphere so much better. Done trying to argue this with your biased opinion, but there's a reason Alex said this in his interview after the Florida State game
    The stadium itself, they filled the stands, the crowd was rocking, the fans were into the game the entire the time from the beginning to the end. Even though they blew the team out the fans stayed to cheer the team on, which was pretty cool
    To me, that seems like a pretty basic expectation of College Football fans. To someone who follows Miami, apparently it isn't.
    And I get what you're saying, Lamp. I know it's a longshot for that reason and I can never blame a recruit for wanting to stay close to home as the reason for picking a school. It's just apparent that Wisconsin has the best rushing attack out of the four schools he has as finalists and if he cites that as his biggest reason, I don't see how Wisconsin would ever be knocked out.
