    Sad thing is that now that UF has shown that LSU is not the team that everyone thought they were who does Bama play until the SEC conference game that will actually gauge how good Bama is?

    Still doesn't really matter in the end. Being defending champs and, this is a big IF, we make it through our schedule undefeated the SEC gets the nod regardless. Our conference has earned that at this point. I'm not saying that your wrong or anything, just saying that an undefeated SEC team will always go to the natty game until other conferences can prove that we aren't the best conference.

    Not to mention Michigan is still ranked, LSU will be ranked, Mississippi State and A&M will probably be ranked and whomever we would play in the SEC championship would be ranked. Five ranked teams isn't exactly what you would call cupcake.

    Edit: Basing those five teams being ranked at end of season and not just when we play.

    You are 100% right and with your schedule I do not see you having any problems with anyone until possibly the SEC championship. Again you might be the best team in the nation but I am so looking forward to the playoff system. It should never be in doubt as to who is the best in the nation and this year is building up to be one of those years where you have to question.

    I would agree with that. I still think that there will be people bitching that their team doesn't make it to the four team playoff if say they are ranked fifth or sixth but that would happen no matter how many teams that you make the playoff. If it's 8 then 9 and 10 will bitch. It's still more concrete than what it is now. A lot of times these things work themselves out though. We have to go undefeated first and you never know. We could catch a team on their A game while we play like crap. You just saw what that looks like with your own team. FSU beats NC State 9 out of 10 times. Just wasn't their night.

    FSU is still not "there" as shown by our poor performance tonight ( It has been really trying to be a Noles fan). I still think that Bama is looking impressive especially on offense (you always expect that they will be up there with the best in defense) and that when things shake out it will be Bama and Oregon in the NC game. I do think that Bama needs to look out because Oregon actually looks like they can play some D this year and with an offense like that you only need to make sure that the other team cannot score as much as you can. The Rams won a Super Bowl with a team like that in 99 (I think that was the year)
