FSU, Vandy and St. Bonny with big upsets today

  • All three teams were picked to lose by the majority of the analyst

  • I personally didn't think FSU was all that big of an upset.

UNC without Henson is a much different team, and struggles defensively.

Great win for FSU, but I wouldn't put this in the "upset" category with the other two IMO.

I guess Drexel is as done as it can get with St. Bonaventure winning.

The loss doesn't really affect UNC, they are still a likely #1 seed.

Kentucky is still #1 overall regardless of loss.

Great win for Vandy though. That group has been around a while and can make a deep run with a higher seed.

  • Maybe Vandy can use this momentum to get out of the first weekend.

Well we blew them out twice with Henson. Once his fresahman year and the other this year, so he would not have made that much of a difference.

It's basically an all-senior led group. Anything less than a Sweet-16 would be considered a failure iyam.

  • Possibility for a #3 seed for FSU with that win duval?

I hope so, because if we do make a run we will avoid the #1 seed in the sweet 16

Agreed, but they've generally been a team that disappoints in the tournament. They're probably looking at about a 6 seed, so they're still going to be an underdog in a second round game most likely.

That's pretty stupid logic, but alright.

Just like your logic that Henson would have made that much of a difference especially when we dominated from the perimeter where Henson rarely steps out to.

You said the reason we won was because Henson was out, so what happen in the first game?

No I did not say that, because I think we would have still won with Henson in the game.

  • Henson would have made a difference when we drove to the basket, we shot lights out from the arch, Henson is a none factor with that. And can FSU get credit for the win, instead of saying well UNC didn't have Henson, so does UNC win with Henson, no idea. Bottom line FSU won end of story

Didn't need a huge difference. It was a 3 point game and McAdoo was pretty terrible. Safe to say Henson could have been the difference between a win and a loss.

Congrats on the win, FSU is a very good team. But your statement that you have blown out Henson twice so he obviously doesn't make a difference is almost as dumb as your white people always drawing charges thread.

Yes it is still considered an upset when only one person picked FSU to win the game

No I didn't say that whatsoever. I said UNC is a different team with Henson.

You guys are just being sensitive over nothing now. FSU deserves full credit for a good win.

I didn't say anything of the sort. "UNC is a different team with Henson" Tell me where I said UNC would have won?

FSU played very solid yesterday and today they are a good team.

Don't know how you can argue UNC isn't a different team with Henson.

Lunardi has Vandy as a #5 against LB State. FSU is #4. Currently in the same bracket for now...

Well when a person is named who didn't play tends to be taken as if you are implying the other team would not have won. So why even mention it. Game was played without him a decision made by the coach. And how much of a factor would he have been even in the game. No one knows, so most FSU fans can only go by the previous games he did play in.

They are a different team. But by saying they are also can be considered insinuating that they will win..... so why even bring it up. If you aren't insinuating that. Hell FSU is a different team with Terrance Shannon but he didn't play so it doesn't matter....

It's all in context. I was refuting the fact the game was an upset. Without Henson these teams are very even.

Not taking away from FSU's victory.
