@fsufsu:
Maryland? Did you really throw Maryland out there? The Maryland that is 37-43 in the ACC over the last 10 years? The Maryland that has 1 ACC championship in the last 25 years (and none since the championship game format was introduced)? Please.
I'll even forego arguments on Louisville, Miami, and ND because there are rational reasons to include each of them them in the conversations. But Maryland and no mention of Clemson? Your omission of Clemson doesn't have anthing to do with Clemson's 6-4 record over FSU over the last 10 years, does it?
Don't consider a move to a tough conference and then try to bring a bunch of washed up punching bags along with you to make your life easier once there.

Im not sure Clemson would leave. In fact if its Clemson and FSU I could see the negatives for Clemson out weigh the positives. Could they continue to recruit NC and Georgia as well not having games there each season? Would fans be happy that FSU os their closest rival? I think for FSU and Clemson they would have to try to get GT and a Louisville to come along.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding your post, but UGA is not an older rivalry.
The SC series stared in 1896. The UGA series started in 1897. GT series began in 1898.
In terms of games played:
vs. SC - 109 (65-40-4) vs. GT - 76 (25-50-2) vs. UGA - 62 (17-41-4)
GO NOLES!
