FSU and Clemson to Big 12?

  • AtlGator19 said...

what a censored new deal they agreed to today.

Indeed. 17 million per team though with the ACC taking a full share, that comes out to be 15.8 million a year per team for all 3 tiers.

  • If this new clustercensored of a new deal doesn't inspire FSU to get out of the ACC, then they won't ever leave

    Keep laughing dude

You suggest the SEC wouldn't invite FSU again cause of sour grapes, that is stupid and you know it

It doesn't even makes sense, " no sorry FSU you said no once so haha, we don't want all the money you could potentially bring "

You have nothing else really, Im saying that FSU can't get into the SEC cause of UF and the fact you have enough schools on your side to vote us out every time

This is a fact see cause its obvious UF doesn't want any part of FSU on a level playing field... that is common sense for why the hell would they if they could control otherwise ?

So tell me again about this article here and how UF writers said this once back in 08'.... lol..... you are a total moron Atl..... always have been

  • Fact is if FSU gets into the SEC then they are right there in money with UF

Something they aren't right now, and recruiting would also get a boost and help us compete even more

And with all this in UF's favor and 50+ more years of playing football you still only have 1 more title than FSU

So yeah, Im sure UF is just dying to allow FSU into the SEC.... clearly, for it would do nothing but make UF weaker in comparison so why not, right ? UF has proven they aren't scared of instate foes by running in the opposite direction of Miami every chance they get so this must make perfect sense to you

Clearly the SEC just doesn't want us cause we said no back in 1992 roflmao

Cutting the BS, do you really believe Slive would allow UF to cost the SEC billions?

Not his choice for UF has enough schools to ensure that it happens, something you are clearly too stupid to realize why we aren't already a member or might have been

But yeah if Slive wanted FSU in maybe he could make it happen.... Im not sure, this whole conference expansion thing is far from over and nobody really knows what will happen

That is why im laughing at you for thinking you got it all figured out.... especially given how ridiculous your claims are and the fact that some of them are based on the homer ass writing of no named Gator enthusiasts roflmao

Of course you wouldn't blame your own school, cause for whatever reason it offends you cause you are a simple minded moron

If I was UF I wouldn't want any part of FSU in the SEC, its called being smart and playing the hand your were dealt as best you can

UF doesn't care about the well being of the SEC if it involves making their most hated rival an even bigger pain in the ass, get real....

  • @fsufsu:

Maryland? Did you really throw Maryland out there? The Maryland that is 37-43 in the ACC over the last 10 years? The Maryland that has 1 ACC championship in the last 25 years (and none since the championship game format was introduced)? Please.

I'll even forego arguments on Louisville, Miami, and ND because there are rational reasons to include each of them them in the conversations. But Maryland and no mention of Clemson? Your omission of Clemson doesn't have anthing to do with Clemson's 6-4 record over FSU over the last 10 years, does it?

Don't consider a move to a tough conference and then try to bring a bunch of washed up punching bags along with you to make your life easier once there.

No he wouldn't and if it meant strong arming UF to get the $ he would do it

  • It think Clemson and FSU are lock step on this one, hell I think Clemson brought the idea to FSU

    delawarenole

  • Im not sure Clemson would leave. In fact if its Clemson and FSU I could see the negatives for Clemson out weigh the positives. Could they continue to recruit NC and Georgia as well not having games there each season? Would fans be happy that FSU os their closest rival? I think for FSU and Clemson they would have to try to get GT and a Louisville to come along.

Actually, Clemson's closest rivals, in terms of distance, are...

    (in order)

UGA (older rivalry, used to be awesome though)
    GT
    USCe

Maybe I'm misunderstanding your post, but UGA is not an older rivalry.

The SC series stared in 1896. The UGA series started in 1897. GT series began in 1898.

    In terms of games played:

    vs. SC - 109 (65-40-4)
    vs. GT - 76 (25-50-2)
    vs. UGA - 62 (17-41-4)

I meant UGA is an older rivalry in regards to how often it's played now. It's faded away.

    Figured I was missing something...

I know that's tough on both their schedules, but I do wish they would play at least a couple of times every 10 years. Lots of passion in those stands when those two get together...
