FSU lands commitments 14 but not 15......

Ryan Hoefield, a 6'3 270 center from New Orleans and Adrian Baker a 6'1 CB from Hollywood Chaminade Madonna in South Florida.
Not huge news makers but both will be able to redshirt for sure and our staff really liked them.
UPDATE: Baker was told no today by Jimbo upon returning from vacation. Gran had told him he had to talk to Jimbo and Jimbo said no

Droogsma and Klepal are as close to silent commits as silent commits are to being a real thing, they'll commit soon.
Baker to FSU cements Rashard Robinson to LSU. We likely won't sign Sojourn Shelton it seems.

i hope baker isnt true. it sounds sketchy. its not that i dont like baker. i just think that rashard robinson is a better played and we look good for him. i am not sure why you fill up at DB with studs still left on the board

Baker has been trying to commit for two months now and it seems like he wore us down to be quite honest. Not elated about him either. Hoefield seems like a great pickup.
Baker, I wish we'd held off and aimed higher.

Baker would have likely been tOSU except Hill committed first right after Lee.
Scout guys were real high on Baker. Should be a good get.

droogsma is a guard. hoefeld is coming in as a center. we are looking for 2 guards, a center, 2 tackles and then at least one more guy who can play guard or tackle. droogsma is a definite take. i think the coaches wanted 5-7 oline this year and were only at 3 right now

burns is a definite take. right now we have white, shelton and johnson and shelton is most likely gonna go to south carolina. i dont think the staff are really counting him as of now and arent too worried. we want 2-3 corners and probably 2-3 safeties depending on who we get. we can use burns at corner or safety so hes good either way

Congrats on Hoefield. I wanted him in the LSU class but the staff just never pulled the trigger with the offer. Solid C prospect.
I think the FSU staff may have read between the lines with Robinson if they accepted Baker. Not that Baker is a bad take but more that Robinson is going to commit to LSU if he gets the ok in a couple of weeks. I thought it was common knowledge by now. For some reason he loves LSU. No that I'm complaining.

Jimbo must approve all commitments before they become official. For some kids, like superstars, Fisher has clearly pre-approved them. For others, he has not. It doesn't sound like Baker is one of the kids previously approved by him.
