well it isn't like Ted Roof and his defenses were special.... not saying FSU D would dominate but they would fare better.....

Not basing it off of just AU. FSU D would fare better, no doubt, but I don't think they could keep up for four quarters. Now I'm hoping FSU/Ark will meet in a bowl next season so we can bump this thread and see who was right.

how can you make that determination.... FSU defense rotates a lot of guys, so they could very well hang all 4 quarters..... Arkansas offense is deadly but they have also been controlled... can their oline maintain our dline.... FSU DBs are no slouches either.... I mean you are making it out that Arkansas offense is unstoppable.... and before you take it the wrong way I said the Hogs would win, but you are short changing FSU defense, who returns all but 2.....

How am I making it out that Arkansas is unstoppable? Because I think they'd beat FSU and that I don't think it'd be especially close?

you still are not giving FSU D any credit... none at all.... Arkansas would win, in a close game... they are not that much better than FSU..... we have seen how well Petrino offense has done against good defense... not great at all.... his offenses is built on rhythm, disrupt it and Wilson panics.... pressure, pressure, pressure... and didn't Arkansas lose some of those WR...... and who knows how well Davis will be, can he return to his old self or will the knee hamper him..... to ASSUME the Hogs win easily is absurd..... again I do think Arkansas would win, but not by much.... they might score 24....

Damn. Really? I think FSU's D could keep it tight. OU had a high powered O at the beginning of last year as well, and FSU kept it pretty tight.

The D would be invalid. The way to beat my hogs is by running the ball. If you can keep the offense off the field and run clock you got us. Other wise the O gets in a groove and won't be stopped. This is what bama and lsu have done to us.

and Arkansas is undefeated when playing a team thats name starts with a constanant, on a saturady, with white sock and a full moon.
