Fantasy Baseball trade help

Ok, this will be a bit long, but bear with me and I'll give you upvotes.
So I'm in a keeper league. This season, nobody paid, so it's for free, but next season we start playing for money. I think we should start the whole league over next year from scratch, but since we're not, I have to work with what I've got. I got Mike Trout as a free agent, so he will be one of my two keepers (I get him as a 23rd pick next year since I got him as a free agent). Not sure on the other keeper yet. I have stockpiled three 5th round draft picks in exchange for a 6th and a 9th in other trades. The incentive for this year is that the top 6 pick in that order in next years' draft to give people an incentive to not sell the whole team for draft picks and play for next year. Right now I'm hovering around 4th place.
So, I was offered Ryan Braun, a 9th round pick and an 11th round pick for Josh Reddick and 2 of my 5th round picks. As good as Braun is, I think my 5th rounders next year are more valuable considering next year is for money and this year is just for draft position and my team is already doing well.
Another trade I was offered was Lincecum and BJ Upton for Sandoval (no draft picks). I have Headley at 3b if I get rid of Panda.
What say you guys? Again, upvotes for advice if you're into that thing.

I'd take Lincecum for Sandoval straight up. IMO Lincecum is having a bad season which makes it a great time to acquire him via trade especially in a keepers league. If Lincecum has a strong second half you could even in turn trade him for a higher valued player than Sandoval you would have lost in acquiring Lincecum.

I don't really like keepers for snake leagues, but they're awesome for auction leagues. For auction keepers you want to keep the best value, for snake leagues you want to keep the absolue best players. Mike Trout is going to be awesome for a long time, but will he be one of the top 20 players or so to merit keeping him?
Time and change will surely (truly) show How firm thy friendship ... OHIO!

He might be. He counts as my 23rd round pick next year though, so I think he's worth it. I've heard projections he should be around top 20 next year, but no idea what that's based on. For a 23rd round pick though, I'll take it.

Sounds like you made a choice that could be argued either way. I think he'll be a top 60 player at least next year, but who knows after that. Chances are it won't be a bad pick.

That's not good.. How many people are still actively playing? MM should pin a thread so we can stay active with the league, makes it much funner,..I wish AZ would call up Bauer ASAP, i need more pitching to win this thing...
