  • If I win this, I'm in the playoffs.. Or if the other guy losses a game (I'm 6-2-2 and he's 6-4) so some advice would be helpful.

I need to sit one of these guys..(2 WR and a Flex).

    Randle Cobb against Minnesota
    Marquis Colston against ATL
    Ahmad Bradshaw against Washington
    Hakeem Nicks against washington

Or.. Charles and Matthews are my RB1 and RB2.. I could sit Matthews and put Bradshaw at the RB2 with Andre' Brown hurt and start Cobb, Colston and Nicks.

    I don't know, tough decision.

Anyways, post your questions too if you guys have any.

  • That's tough...but I don't think one way or another will make a huge difference. Personally, I'd sit Mathews..Bengals run D is middle of the pack and Mathews hasn't been particularly impressive.

Yeah I'm thinking about that but he has so much potential and can break a long one.. If Norv Turner wasn't so damn incompetent, Matthews would be a LOT better.. Some games he doesn't even get 10 carries.. He does not use him enough running the ball, no screen passes for him or routes for him to run. That stupid coach is wasting Matthews talent because the sky is the limit for him.. When healthy.

I'm probably going to sit Nicks but I'm still not sure. Cobb has been a machine with 7 TD's in his last 5 games and has been a top 10 fantasy WR this season since the Jennings injury.

I'm not sitting Colston, he's been a beast all year and owns the Falcons.. Plus, Asante' Samuel and Donta Robinson might not play on Thursday night.

Is it a PPR league? If it's PPR, I don't think you can afford to bench Nicks for Mathews..Nicks should obviously get a few more catches than Mathews..with that said I'm not a big fan of starting a WR and RB from the same team..the chances they both find the endzone aren't high.

If it's not PPR, I'd go Mathews who probably has a little more upside. If it is PPR...then it's close, but I guess since you're already starting Bradshaw, it would make sense to bench Nicks. I still expect a better game from Nicks though...

And yeah Cobb has been on fire..only downside for him this week is Jennings finally comes back, but he's expected to see a very limited snap count, so I'd still roll with Cobb all the way

  • I would sit Mathews and play the 4 you listed. You can't rely on Mathews especially over those other guys.

Even if Jennings comes back Cobb will play just as much. The staff and Aaron are really high on him. He won't lose any snaps and is looking to get a few more carries too.

  • I would say sit Mathews. Unimpressive all year and that won't change until Rivers steps up.

    Here's mine:

    I need 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE and 1 Flex (WR/RB/TE)

    RB Ray Rice
    RB LeSean McCoy
    RB Alfred Morris
    RB Stevan Ridley
    RB Beanie Wells
    WR Andre Johnson
    WR Hakeem Nicks
    WR Randall Cobb
    WR Miles Austin
    TE Jermaine Gresham
    TE Scott Chandler

Right now, I'm thinking Rice, Morris, Johnson, Nicks, Ridley, Gresham.

I'm missing out on a first round bye, because of a loss by .14 points. I was up 45 points going into the Monday night game and my opponent had the Bears defense and Miles Austin, so what does Romo do? Throws a TD to Austin and then 2 to the Bears defense plus 5 interceptions. Absolutely the worst loss I have ever had in fantasy football. He was the top team in the league at the time and I thought I had him beat. Worst part is that we were the top 2 scores of the week, would have beaten any other team.

Nothing worse. Im 9-3 with 2 losses by a combined 2.6 points.

Hopefully that didn't knock you out of the playoffs or anything. That would suck even worse.

First, how did you manage McCoy and Rice?

    If McCoy plays
    McCoy and Rice at RB

Andre Johnson and Nicks at WR

    Gresham at TE

    Cobb at flex

if McCoy doesn't play I'd go with Ridley. Pats should be up so he should get a lot of carries, and they always give Ridley a carry on the goalline, especially with Gronk out.

edit: your team looks pretty damn good imo. Who's your QB?

Right now, I'm thinking Rice, Morris, Johnson, Nicks, Ridley, Gresham.

LeSean McCoy has been ruled out for Sunday. Miles Austin is day to day.

It's hard to do without looking at the match ups... Without the match ups though.. Here's mine:

RB1 - Ray Rice.. Must start in every league, no matter the opponent.

RB2 - Morris or Ridley.. Morris has had 10 or under Fantasy Points (Standard League) his last 4 games... Ridley has 18, 15, 8, 15 Fantasy Points in his last 4 games.. Might want to check the matchup here, tough call because Morris can have "one of those games" any Sunday.

WR1 - Hakeem Nicks (75 yards and 78 yards with a TD his last 2 games) FINALLY healthy, been either hurt and not playing or limping when playing.

WR2 - Randall Cobb.. I'm a huge fan of his, he's been a top 5 WR his last 5-7 games... Had a downgame his last game but so did the entire GB team.

TE - Jermaine Gresham.. I think this is a no-brainer with him and Chandler unless Gresham is playing the 49ers

FLEX: Well, this solves the Ridley/Morris issue.. Morris or Ridley here.. Morris or Ridley in your RB2

This is what I would do, personally.. WITHOUT looking at match ups.. Match ups are a big deal, obviously.

I think he has to play Andre Johnson. They have shown a new commitment to get him the ball the last 2 weeks. Gotta ride that momentum. Morris is playing the Giants and Ridley vs Dolphins. I would say Johnson over Morris.

Yeah it's a tough one... I'm a big fan of playing as many starting RB's as possible. Always been my "style", always try to draft a starting RB for my FLEX. That's why I like Morris in the Flex and Ridley as the RB2, with Rice at RB1.

Drafted McCoy first round. Traded Doug Martin for Ray Rice.

My QB is Peyton Manning. K is Zuerlein. Been switching out D's, but lately a rotation of Dallas and Cincinnati based on matchups has done well for me. Going Dallas against Philly this week. Should get me at least 15 points.

I had a game earlier this year that came down to my opponent having PIT D/ST @ KC on MNF. I went up 1.8 pts as KC kicked a FG to tie as time expired.

I lost by 0.2 three plays later when Cassel threw his first INT of the game in OT.

  • What should I do with MJD since our playoffs start next week? I think he will come back next week likely but Im cautious to play him. My rbs are Arian Foster, MJD, CJ Spiller, and Jonathan Dwyer. My receivers are Dez Bryant, Roddy White, and Demaryius Thomas. Its 2rb 2wr and flex. I just dont know if I should drop one of my receivers to the bench and put MJD to the flex when he comes back.
