she gets to experience living abroad for 3 years and will be back for high school. i lived in germany growing up for 10 years, 5 w/ only my dad. i could have gone to court over it, but the chances of me winning were slim (her mom is a great mom, no other basis to block), it would have been expensive as hell (and her stepfather has MUCH deeper pockets than i do), and it would have been scorched earth war vs her mom. simply not worth it to oppose something that really is an incredible opportunity for her.

I was the typical " i want all boys ". So I started out with 2 boys in a row, and was ready to make more boys.
Then the 3rd was my beautiful blonde hair blue eyed beauty! The day my wife gave birth to her was a whole different experience. Then my 4th was my beautiful brown haired green eye daughter. I cried like a sissy with my girls. There is nothing better than those 2 girls waking me up in the morning jumping on me, saying daddy daddy wake up. It is priceless!
I am just wondering what kind of gun I should keep by the door for the boyfriends, just incase their brothers dont take care of it first.
I really hope you get you little girl! I am blessed with 2 little daddy girls.

I was just like you with practically the exact same story. I was great with just having boys that I could play and roughhouse with after my first 2 were boys. Then my first daughter came and it changed my entire outlook on life (much for the better imo) and could never have been happier when my second daughter was born. There is a glow of love and excitement in their eyes when you see them and they see you that can only come from your baby girl. I have another coming in Oct that my wife swears is gonna be another boy which is exciting because all they want now is a little brother that they can play mommy to.
The way they say I love you daddy compares to no other.
I see dads crying when they walk their daughter down the aisle, and I sit there thinking to myself holy crap that's going to be me!!
I too had a totally different view on life when my girls were born.
