It really doesn't matter to me who's ranked 1 or 2, I'd take Howard over Breneman every time.

I wouldn't argue with having either one. I'm happy with Howard for sure but it's not like either team is getting screwed here.

We already have multiple quality more traditional TEs. OJ brings ridiculous athleticism to the position, like an Orson Charles type. Just look what Brad Smelley did in our offense. He was no slouch & a very good athlete in his own right, but he has nowhere near the size & ability that Howard has. I didn't say Breneman was a scrub or anything, so just relax already. Is that good enough dad?

I didn't say anything was f***** here, and obviously both teams are getting great players. My issue was the poster that said Breneman was *clearly number one* ahead of OJ. No more, no less.

You're correct, but I doubt very highly Breneman would make it to the The Opening. I'm just saying.

  • I know its a total homer thing to say, but in terms of favorite's... has everyone making a comment ITT seen Rueben Foster's highlights for the past 2 years? He looked all-pro as a soph in highschool. He probably would've been a top 10 recruit in the 2012 cycle.

I'm not saying that other players aren't great, or even that they're not as good (though very few are), but this dude hits like I've never seen from a HS kid.

Not a better player but George Williams hits just as hard if not harder than Foster does

Howard may be a better athlete, but Breneman is the better TE. Most people think that he's one of the best TE's in the past few years.

He would have been last years top player, just like he should be this year. Robert Nkedimeche is really good, but I can make an argument for others like Tunsil, and other OL's and DL's with huge upside.

Rueben Foster is by far the best HS LB prospect I've ever seen. I mean it when I said he looks like an All pro LB as a HS junior. I don't care how loaded Bama is at LB, he's going to start. Not many kids are ready to bang with NFL players out of HS. I think Foster is. His instincts are great as it is, even if he were normal size out of HS. The fact that he's already 240 pounds of heat seeking missile, puts him over the top. Not sure how much upside he has though. He's pretty much already there. His only issue will be learning the scheme.

Still, the OP asked "favorite" not best. No recruit can be a favorite for me if I know they're not going to be a Gator.
