What is your favorite MLB team and why? For me, obviously, it's the Braves.

Reds. Why? Well, where I grew up you pick between Cincinnati, Cleveland, Pittsburgh and Washington. Pittsburgh football and hockey fan, though.

Agreed, they will bean him.... he will smile cause he doesn't feel pain and the next pitch he gets that day will end up in the next state closet to the outfield

I hope he learns a lesson or two in humility when he goes 0 for 50 at the show. MLB has a way to humble even the biggest egos eventually.

New York Mets. I was born in Brooklyn and My first pro sport memories were from the 86 playoff run. Grew up watching the Mets on WWOR when we moved to Florida. Before I became a Nole fan the Mets were my favorite sports team.

Similar situation for me. Although I grew up in Alabama and football is everything, my first several sporting events were Braves games. I knew who Chipper Jones and David Justice and Greg Maddox were before I ever knew or cared anything about CFB.

Living where I live you're either a Cubs, Cardinals, or Reds fan. I choose the Cubbies at a very young age. "Ryno" was my favorite player before "The Kid" came along. Being a Cubs/Irish fan is rough most years, this year it's going to be excruciating. Cubs are the worst team in baseball and in complete rebuilding mode. I remember being in Iraq and volunteering to go to the motorpool for a week so that I could watch Marlins/Cubs series. Watching that disaster known as the Bartman series about sums up being a Cubs fan.
