Looks like another big finish for Notre Dame. Adding Muhammad IMO is underrated. You can never have too many guys like that on the defensive line- a big reason the Irish are in the hunt for the national title.

Of course you have to throw in the Chip leaving comment. Seems that's all other schools have against Oregon these days. Well, how about Oregons system will stay intact even if Chip leaves because it's being set up that way. Sick of hearing about Chip leaving! It's all people talk about these days.

because it means something to commits. its not to upset you personally or trash your team. but it does have an impact on what teams and coaches kids will commit to play for.

Inserted that note for the sole purpose that I do feel if Chip Kelly decides to leave it would have an impact on how the class could close out with the Ducks clearly having Redfield's attention as well with his intentions of visiting Eugene after his season.
Same way if Brian Kelly left Notre Dame it could change how the final pieces fall for the Irish for the 2013 recruiting haul.

Didn't this guy accept the Tampa Bay Bucs job and then back out? At the very least, he came close to accepting it.

The system isn't the only thing Chip brings to the table. Saying so is trivializing what he's done there.

Is there any tangible reason that Notre Dame is ranked 6th? They have a higher average player ranking than Florida with 3 more commitments. They have a higher average player ranking than Michigan with one less commitment. OSU's average player ranking is greater by 0.01 and they have five less commitments. Based on your own player rankings, I don't see how it makes sense to have anybody besides USC and Alabama being ranked higher than ND.

Agree that Redfield will be playing at ND, but it will be at Safety. Redfield, AQM, Folston, and a surprise commit. Close up shop and move on to 2014, which will be a smaller class with a little more star power for those that are into rankings. I expect us to have a great DL haul, with 1/2 elite DB's, and a big time RB..
