  • Man it hurts to look at Vonn Bell knowing he'll be joining a loaded secondary and how bad we need safeties. Hopefully Urb can get him to come up before he commits.

    Visited twice. Once on an unofficial and he came back up to camp over the summer. But look at this list... Unbelievable what we could finish with. Top 3 class for sure

  • What does it mean for Shelton Gibson to " continue improving his academic status". not much a kid can do to a cumulative GPA at this point in his senior year. he allegedly has a passing test score, ACT, so what is the holdup? I know "academics, but what specifically!"

    I agree we get Quick, Elder, Mitchell, Johnson, Worley and I am still believing Vonn bell, don't know why....

    Gibson, my gut says "no" just because this is strange...

  • I think we close with Worley, Mitchell, Quick, Conley, and a signing day surprise. Gibson may be shut out with his grades issue and I'm not sure Elder will end up a Buckeye. Something tells me that with Jalin Marshall and Zeke Elliot in the fold, he's less of a need. He's someone we might take if we can't land Quick (I'm really hoping we do land Quick as this team needs natural wide receivers, not more running backs that get converted to receiver).

  • Until I hear bell say it himself I believe the buckeyes get him. I don't care how many times he visited Alabama for a free game. He is not dumb knowing they're loaded and were not and he said it himself. He already knows enough about the buckeyes to commit without visiting for a game. Baugh never visited but yet he commited

    Good article, and I'm starting to intuitively agree with Meyer4Prez about Bell. One can never tell but I too still feel that Bell will be a Buckeye.

    The only thing he says about bama is that they are the best team right now so you have to consider them. Bell is pretty close to the vest but every quote I've heard from or about him regarding bama was that the only reason he is considering them is because they are the top team. So he visited a couple games because Bama is only 3 hours away. Who wouldn't want to go to as many big time football games as possible. Bell visited and camped with us long before bama interest and consistenly said we were his best visit.... We're still in this big time man, I still think we get him strictly because of depth chart and relationship with Meyer.
