A new campaign has started tonight in Bloomington, Indiana. It is directed to remove our inept defensive coordinator. Every status I will post about sports, whether relevant or not will be followed by #FireFickell. Please join me this football season in demanding a traditional Ohio State defense. #FireFickell

The absolute homers on our board are blaming it on the supposed 'lack of talent'. I refuse that Ohio State under Tressel hasn't recruited defensive talent. Boy, I'm glad we play you guys in Columbus this year.

No way it's talent. There's tons of talent on that defensive squad, but talent won't mean squat without solid coaching.
And The Game being in Columbus may be the deciding factor. It's going to be a good one.

It can't be lack of talent. That was a very good defense last year and you guys kept Jonathon Hankins and John Simon. I know you maybe had some losses, but I assumed with guys returning and Fickell remaining on the staff there would be some continuity which would help.

I would settle for decent coaching right now. It doesn't have to be solid, just decent.
That's why on Thanksgiving, I'm giving thanks that it's in Columbus.

He's at where his heart was always at. We got two national titles out of him but he's at a school that he dreamed of coaching at.
good luck with the Fickell thing. Sounds like the guy sucks. You'll be preseason favorites if the defense can be shored up
