So Indiana scored 29 points against NW while being +2 in turnover margin. Meanwhile, PSU was -1 in turnover margin (during non-garbage time) and scored 39 points against NW. Yet Indiana's offense is that much greater than PSU's? Real geniuses in here.

Not completely, but it is usually a decent gauge to consider both points and turnovers. Especially since NW played PSU and Indiana consecutively.
But yeah, I guess comparing statistics between completely different opponents is so much more legitimate.

We have trouble against spread teams. Against pro style teams, were ok. Penn State you better hope you get us this year, because you won't for a very very long time
