will he be out the whole season?

Nothing official yet, but it wouldn't surprise me if he is.

No flame but I don't know if it's possible for USC to experience a "tough break"... This is the equivalent of Bill Gates losing his favorite cashmere sweater, he'll just another one.

Take the tough break for USC out of it....I think of the kids themselves. I feel for every kid on every roster in the NCAA when it comes to season ending injuries.

Wen you hire a shit head like Kiffin, this is what happens.

Just curious to why you feel that way about him.....besides that fact that 90% of your posts are trolls, like your other aTm buddy.

Kiffin has done an amazing job at USC and is already near the top of the ranks of coaches in the game today. I understand what happened at Tennessee, and I truly believe that he wouldn't have left if it wasn't for a chance to get a job like USC. Can't blame the guy for wanting to go back to where he lived for a while. The job he did in the one year at Tennessee was nothing short of amazing though, IYAM.

usctrojan1 should have probably laid off attacking you military career, but you do ask for it with the comments you make on here all the time. It gets tiresome to some people and you have to understand how some are going to react to you.

Thanks for your service, but you ask for reactions like that at times.....and unfortunately, sometimes, I think you enjoy them.

Well said. Too many fans forget these are all just kids having fun playing football and hoping to get to the next level. I don't wish an injury on any team not even OSU. Although their fans do make it hard sometimes...

It simply confirms how blatantly repulsive you are...that a complete stranger can determine by every post you make, and every worthless and ignorant opinion you express, gives a clear picture of a base individual of little worth.

I know more than enough about the military, and great men that have served..my own uncle won the Silver Star for Valor...and I could bet a million dollars his opinion of you would match mine.

    You don't know shit lol

  • Sorry to hear about it. Kinda hoping for Bama v. USC for the title. I keep thinking ya'll should blow through the PAC, but you can't afford to lose many to injury with a smaller roster. Good luck...maybe you'll get good news from his doc.

Yea, I know I should have not brought up the military thing - but like police officers, you have that tiny gawd-awful few that should never be allowed on the force.

I had a lot of childhood friends I grew up with die in Vietnam. Great guys, heroes who went because their country called them - some volunteered. I never participated in anti-war marches or protests, and to this day, I walk up to my high school and run my hand over the plaque and kiss the names of the many guys that died in Vietnam - and I grew up in a town of 12,000.

That is why he is so revolting to me, because I have so much respect for those who serve. Some just don't belong, and have their own reasons for joining that have nothing to do with honor or worthy of praise.

I have nothing wrong with what he did at Tennessee. Coaches leave schools all the time. No one in their right mind would have turned down USC for Tennessee, especially if the had been a coach at USC before and had a family that loved the LA area. He did the right thing for his family. You can't ask coaches not to do what's best for their families.

As far as following the rules, I'll wait until there is an ounce of credible evidence before I even consider that. That opinion just sounds like envy.

Kiffin has two straight arrows Pat Haden and JK McKay approving every move he makes.

There is no way he breaks any rules on purpose, it's zero tolerance at USC now. There may be some weird procedural stuff maybe but I even doubt that with USC's new compliance dept in place.

Wtf? That post is more telling about you than anything else. smh

I was thinking the same thing lol. It is expected though when you make a remotely negative comment about USC.

As a matter of fact, this is just an observation and not meant to be personal, but usctrojan1 is the largest homer of all time, and it is not remotely close. This is coming from a pretty big homer in myself.

No, she's not the biggest homer. Not even close. She loves USC, but isn't afraid to criticize our players and other fans. USCTROJANS1 is a passionate fan, but she does have perspective. She is my favorite poster from our board and from the old board.

Then you're not "latin", you're just a person from California with some not-white in her ancestry. Real messicans would encourage their children to have screaming contests in pubic. This is the litmus test for being of latin american descent.

Hardly...just the peasants, lol. I am white by the way, my ethnicity is Hispanic...I fool you honkies all the time

By the way, my mother tells stories about the migration of the people fleeing the dust bowl, and how they came to California wearing no shoes, coarse language and not-so-clean personal habits. Proper English was also an issue. Sound familiar?

Not that we will have the luck again this year, but last season (mid season) we had three freshmen linebackers starting - including the so important MLB, and a true freshman on the offensive line, that had been unsettled till mid season as well.

Will be have the same good fortune this season? We just have to wait to find out.

What was so dispicable....He left for a better job? Brian Kelly did...is he dispicable?, Todd Grahm did and he informed his team by text (Kiffin at least met with his team to tell them)... this BS about him calling players and telling them not to go to class....I bet players and parents called the coaches to find out what their options were, and they told them there options...(as a player and parent, I would have done the same thing)...you know what is dispicable...It's those Backward Ass Tennessee fans that rioted, burned couches and threatened the lives of Lane's wife and children...that's dispicable and people that give the Tennesse fans a pass on that are dispicable too...

I lived in Salinas for two years when I first got to California, so yes.

So...we are in agreement that coarse behavior, poor language/communication skills, unruly children and lack of proper social etiquette is not confined to poor immigrants? One can say that you hear/see that on the streets of America every day...from people born here, that have no excuse to conduct themselves in that manner.

You're missing the context of Salinas. This website seems like it could be a tad kooky, but it sums up the point.

BTW, in general what always makes me laugh about USC fans making cracks on rednecks is that there's nothing in Alabama as redneck as what's an hour to the north or east of you.

This is true, but being an Alabama grad living in Alabama at the moment, but from California, I don't find anything wrong with either. The valley folk are the nicest people in California and are probably the most accepting of all ethnicities. They see first hand how all the different cultures come together for the commom good of the community. Even in a city like LA with its diversity, there is also usually a divide between all the different cultures to a certain point. Not like the divide on the East coast, but one still exists.
