I've come to accept that when people see him they expect to see a NFL ready QB, so they don't rank him as high as others. He is still a hell of a QB, easily the top in the nation. Max Browne is good, but literally just about all of his highlights are just tossing the deep ball against the crap Washington competition he plays against.

He's fast, but he is not a good RB. If any RB should be a 5*, it's Ty Isaac. Kid is an absolute beast.

4* or 5*, I couldn't care less what he ends up as. I am just glad he is committed to Michigan.

Washington and Michigan competition are comparable. Even if he were the top quarterback in the country, you could still make a strong argument for Browne.

He's No. 1 to you guys and should be. He may be the single-most important recruit to any school in this class, but these are national prospect rankings, which means he's sized up against all of the talent in the country.

24/7 admins are about to be riddled with e-mails from bama fans about how AU is paying players and how Carl Lawson being a 5* is a sham. You guys shouldn't have done that. Now your lives will all be hell.

The difference is the league Shane plays in has put out a ton of D1 prospects in the last few years.

I don't really care, I mean they're just high school rankings, they don't mean anything when they step on the field.

Quick question, do you think Dave Dawson will get moved up in the next rankings?

After he flips to Florida, possibly.

Well, since he wasn't willing to go see the Florida coaches when they visited his school, I am not worried about him going to Florida to visit them there either.

This was just a small adjustment expressly for the purpose of adding five stars. Dawson and LTT both could move up or down slightly based on camp showing, but I would not expect anything dramatic. We had Dawson reasonably high to begin with and have always believed he's one of the best in the country. On the flip side, it's hard to drop LTT based on a camp or two unless there was something we saw with regards to his overall athleticism that make his upside less significant.

These guys- Fuller, Willis, Bell, Lawson, Bigelow- were all in the discussion prior to this move. Camps just answered some questions for us or in some cases, went against information we previously had (like Lawson's true height).
