Against Oregon high schoolers no less. Love to see him run for 2,400 yards and 33 TDs in Georgia's largest class and lead his team to the state championship game.
Kid got injured again during track season this Spring. Great measureables.....but not an ELITE RB.

For me, quarterback rankings at the high school level are a crapshoot for the most part because there are so many variables at play, and they don't truly come into play until the next level. I think the baseline skill sets are big, plus what one can really dig on in terms of the variables at hand. An elite dual-threat guy (Vince Young and Cam Newton) being the easiest because the college game and scheme possibilities. With the guys who are going to have to make or break throwing the football, there are so many factors that play in - and the reality is the warts aren't exposed until the next level in the majority of cases. It's the ultimate respond to adverse situations in sports IMO.
Just one opinion here, but I would like to see Morris change ball speeds, change traj's more and consistently, get consistent on every facet of being a passer instead of a strong armed thrower.
I love his baseline skill set. The feet are very good, the arm strength is there obviously, he has a quick arm, is athletic enough to extend plays at the next level against big time athletes, and appears to have the reactionary quickness with the feet and body to work around a athletic pass rush and still make plays with a throw into faster closing windows than what he sees at the HS level. I also like how he carries himself, the self confidence, you can tell guys like him - which is so key too.

I think Tyner will likely descend over time. I think he's a great fit at Oregon in their scheme combined with his skill set/strengths as a runner, but I still expect him to descend over time.

Well hopefully if you are evaluating you will do so with an open mind and without prejudice. I'm fairly certain that none of the naysayers have ever seen Tyner play in person. The kid is a beast with a champion's heart. He has suffered some unfortunate injuries that have kept him off the track and out of some games.

Given his lofty aspirations and that CK (Chip Kelly) doesn't give positions to anyone (including 5 stars), he'll have to work his tail off to get playing time for Oregon who will have Marshall, Wilson, DAT, and possibly others in the backfield. If he works his tail off and stays relatively injury free, my projection is that he will be the best back in the country, including the SEC. And just to give a little relativity - DAT ran a 10.65 this Spring for the Oregon track team in the 100 meters. As a sophomore in high school - Tyner ran a 10.35, beating a senior Arthur Delaney who is now on the Oregon track squad by several meters. My guess is he'll be able to get to the outside and then up the field, even at the next level.

For Gerry or JC, If Tyren Jones produces another season on the field similar to last year, 2400 rushing yards/38 TD's, do you think that will be enough to get him a 5th star? Adding in his stats from his freshman and sophomore seasons at Lassiter HS before transferring to Walton, he is likely to finish as the all-time leading rusher and TD scorer in the history of Georgia's largest classification. If on the field performance doesn't get him there then I doubt he would ever get it because the only camps he is likely to compete in will be camps at Bama and the Next Level 7 on 7 championships in Cali later this summer. He did not do Nike, MVP Camp, Under Amour Combines or any of the other events.

Given that his current 247 rating of 4 Star with a grade of 95 and ranked as #5 RB in nation is predominantly based off of his on-field production and game film [since he has NOT really camped], if that is "unimpressive" then I guess "unimpressive" is not too bad.Keep it moving troll.

His game film is rather unimpressive. Perhaps he SHOULD camp somewhere.

Jabrill Peppers...More I watch, the more I'm convinced he is the best player in the 2014 class. Barring injury, he will do special things.

you see the game film he had against Lawson?? I think Lawson is 52 but he rarley shows up so I would rather have a gamer then a combine champ,
310 yards and 5 TDs by HALFTIME against a defense that Lawson plays onJabrill Peppers...More I watch, the more I'm convinced he is the best player in the 2014 class. Barring injury, he will do special things.
