  • As much as I hate to see it, I'm going with Bama. They've pressed the kid all year and hard. They don't lose many battles like that. They have a recruiting machine at Bama.

    That said, I wouldn't be suprised if home wins out in February.

    I'm going to guess Pitt as well. I was really hoping that Wisconsin would have hired Paul Chryst and I would have had no doubts about him going to Bama. Just seems like a kid that always wanted to stay close to home in his heart of hearts. Can't blame him for that.

    Will still have my fingers crossed though. Amari Cooper has to at least made us look better in the eyes of talented young WR's this year. Well that and how well Julio has been playing this year.

    Okay. Not sure why I thought he was a PSU fan (which I don't want to hear anything from when it comes to morality or ethics within athletic departments). I know that the Buckeyes aren't in any heat for paying players and all, but still a stout statement to say at this point. We haven't had any of those issues in a while, especially under Saban. Saban doesn't need to pay for players.

    That being said, I still think, and always have said this, that Tressell screwed your school for god knows what. You would be playing Notre Dame this year, if he wouldn't have lied over something as dumb as tattoos and the things that he lied about. I don't think anyone, even the NCAA, believed that OSU deserved the bowl and postseason bans that it got for the crimes. Tressell lying to the NCAA got you where you are this year, not the crimes themselves.

    Has to rub you guys the wrong way that you didn't take the violation the year before last instead of this year though. Man would I be pissed if I was an OSU fan. At least you have Urban now though. He will eat the Big X alive.

    I'm trying to put it all in the past. Thankful to have Meyer, and the direction we are headed moving forward. Most Ohio State fans are just jelly of the success the SEC has been having, and have had at our expense.

    He was one hell of a coach that made one just stupid decision. He still won a natty for you guys though and beat the tar out of Michigan on the regular. I wouldn't expect OSU fans to hate the guy.

    I don't either with Braxton Miller as the qb. Kid is tailor made for Urban's system. I don't see anybody in the Big X being able to hold a candle to OSU under Urban for the next however long he stays. You will be playing in the four team playoff most years under Urban, and have a good shot at playing for the last BCS title next year with Braxton at the helm.

    I can't see anyone in the Big X beating you guys next year but don't honestly know if you play anyone in your OOC games.

    You also know that I like most of the PSU fans on here. I still haven't quite gotten over everything that happened with your university though. If Saban ever leaves, knock on wood he doesn't, it certainly wouldn't upset me if we went hard after O'Brien though. You guys have a stud of a coach up there.
