You also know that I like most of the PSU fans on here. I still haven't quite gotten over everything that happened with your university though. If Saban ever leaves, knock on wood he doesn't, it certainly wouldn't upset me if we went hard after O'Brien though. You guys have a stud of a coach up there.

Thank you sir. The only thing I can say is just try to remind yourself that every single PSU fan or will ever come across in your life had nothing to do with Sandusky. cheers

EDIT: O'Brien is going to go hard after the Pats job whenever it opens up. He's a NE guy and likes the climate.

Okay. Not sure why I thought he was a PSU fan (which I don't want to hear anything from when it comes to morality or ethics within athletic departments). I know that the Buckeyes aren't in any heat for paying players and all, but still a stout statement to say at this point. We haven't had any of those issues in a while, especially under Saban. Saban doesn't need to pay for players.

That being said, I still think, and always have said this, that Tressell screwed your school for god knows what. You would be playing Notre Dame this year, if he wouldn't have lied over something as dumb as tattoos and the things that he lied about. I don't think anyone, even the NCAA, believed that OSU deserved the bowl and postseason bans that it got for the crimes. Tressell lying to the NCAA got you where you are this year, not the crimes themselves.

Has to rub you guys the wrong way that you didn't take the violation the year before last instead of this year though. Man would I be pissed if I was an OSU fan. At least you have Urban now though. He will eat the Big X alive.

Like elite said, I'm just a bit jelly. I meant nothing by my comment and I think you should know that as this is SOP on TBB. I love Saban(not) and Bama(not) and the entire SEC(not) and I like to salt that ish when brought up. I don't think tOSU is above that nor any team that wants to be big time (and this includes Bama), but poking fun at you guys is just that; fun. Get ready for 2013, bitches!!!! Coach Urb is coming for you!!

    Yeah, I said it.

  • From what I hear all signs point to JUCO, but if he does qualify I will go with Pitt. They have been in the lead for him all year.

He was one hell of a coach that made one just stupid decision. He still won a natty for you guys though and beat the tar out of Michigan on the regular. I wouldn't expect OSU fans to hate the guy.

He made more than that...but I'm with you! Urban renewal....rockon

That seems to be the consensus. I find it to be a damn shame that a handful of these kids every year can't even make decent grades in HS. There needs to be some serious evaluating done in terms of priorities for these kids. I love CFB as much as all of yous, but this is pathetic. Uber talented kids get shut out from college every year because they rely on one thing and if that thing doesn't work out - and it usually doesn't - they have nothing to fall back on.

    Yeah, I said it.

Oh I think Urb will have the chance to win several natties during his tenure at OSU. I don't see any team in the Big X being very close to him, and with it going to a four team playoff after next year, he will have a chance almost every year when all is said and done. He damn well might go undefeated next year in the Big X. I mean who is going to beat him? Michigan without Denard? I don't think so.

Urban Meyer in the Big X will routinely be in the top four and have at least a shot.
