Mamma wants A'Shawn at Texas, andTexas gets his last visit. Recruiting is never as black and white as it seems but just based on those two factors odds would seem to be in favor of him sticking with Texas, at least based on all the years I've followed recruiting. You combine that with the fact that he'll be over a month removed from his USC visit and he's established some really strong relationships with the rest of our class and one would think its even more likely he ends up in Austin.

That said, I'm still hesitant to get too optimistic. I know he really enjoyed his SC visit. He and his mom have a comfort level with Texas that'll be hard to overcome but if anyone would be able to do it, its Ed Orgeron.

As always, very fluid. There are no guarantees, but some guys are more smoke filled than others.

Highly unlikely? I admit I worry about Ramsey, but where does he end up iyo? Or that he just doesn't end up at USC?

I did have doubts about Ramsey sticking, but the kid flew to LA during Thanksgiving on his own dime, stayed with Chris Hawkins, and took an unofficial. On top of that, Tee Martin is still at SC.

I do think that Hawkins trip was very telling.

Only time I remember Ramsey saying anything about him being frustrated was when Sanders hadn't talked to Hawkins.

I also like the fact that Lane and co only have eleven guys to recruit until February.
