Florida State is getting screwed.

  • I know they did it to themselves with losing to NC State and I am not saying they should be the top 1 loss team or ever the #2 one loss team, but after the standings come out today, I think they are going to have 5 and maybe even 6 teams with at least one loss ahead of them.

    I'll be honest. If Alabama does make it back into the National Championship picture, the 2 teams that I would least like to face would be #1 Oregon and #2 FSU. I think we could beat them both, but I think they also present the biggest problems for us.

    I'll dontate $100 to the pot for them to pay the $50 million to get out of the ACC and I'll throw in another $50 if they come to the SEC. Of course, if Florida, UGA, South Carolina, and Kentucky could get over their pact to keep out teams from existing states with a school, I am sure the SEC would front most of that $50 million for them anyways.

  • We arent getting screwed. You dont go from the basement to the penthouse in a year. This is another transition year for us. Losing to NCSt was a colossal failure and we are being punished rightly for it. We need to close out strong, start top 7 next year and beat Clemson on the road while not losing to teams who shouldnt be able to stay within 24 of us and we'll go to Gainseville next year with the opportunity to earn our way in.

    We arent getting screwed by anyone but ourselves right now.

    I agree that losing to NC State really hurst the argument. Just think about it this way. What if there are no undefeated teams left at the end of the year and FSU beats Florida and wins the ACC?

    Should the winner of the UGA/Bama game play a one loss Oregon, Kansas St, Notre Dame, or 2 loss South Carolina/LSU possibly over Florida St, because that is probably what will happen, IMO.

  • Moot point to me. I just don't see enough teams losing to were two 1 loss teams play in the BCS CG. And with the sorry state of the ACC if only one 1 loss team is getting in the SEC champ will have played a better schedule than the ACC champ. Going into the bowls I expect FSU to have a higher ranking than now though. I have FSU over UF, Clemson over USCe and Bama over UGA. Look impressive in the win over the gates and FSU can have a top 5 ranking going into bowl week.

  • I don't get why losing on the last second play to a mediocre team is any worse than getting blown out by a good team. You look at it seem like a Georgia who got absolutely taken to the woodshed by South Carolina and it makes me wonder why they get so much respect after getting thumped.

    I don't even care about that loss from months ago

    -15 yards rushing against a 6 loss team proves to me that FSU sucks

    Fumbling 12 times in 3 weeks proves to me that FSU sucks also

    When i watch FSU games i want to pull my eyes out and step on them, then i breath a sigh of relief when the game ends and FSU chalks up another ugly win

    This is why i don't care about this season, just waiting for it to end

    It is comical with the 2 loss teams, but the system is in their favor right now.

    A screw job would be FSU being behind LSU, S Carolina, and A&M after they beat the Gators and are 11-1. Let's hold off on screaming foul until then.
