Football is just not an important game

I think everyone missed the point of the post. I played football and enjoyed every minute of it. I'd do it again. My point was that in the big scheme of things, winning and losing football games just really isn't important. We as fan get upset when we lose and feel superior when we win. What happened today totally changed how I feel about that.

I'm saying winning or losing is pointless in a fans life. I'm certainly not saying its pointless for the players playing it. Sports is a very important part in any young teen or adult life. We, as fans, IMO overvalue the importance of wins and losses because of pride, nothing more. What happened today put things in perspective for me and how I think I'll value wins and losses moving forward.

i got ya man i guess im just so frustrated with everyone just now realizing that football is a hard sport and Now those people r just freaking out about it.
