I was on Rivals for 4 years and I have no idea what this means.

I had completely forgot about You Laugh You Lose. I got to where I never went in them on Rivals because it was the same gifs and pics I had already seen.

Minus Tiger trolling all the time on both his accounts and aumajorpain complaining about something this board is Great...

Flaming: For the most part, pretty minimal. Easy to spot when it's coming, but for the most part the people keep it to a minimum. Every not and again, someone gets pissy and terrorize the board for about ten minutes before getting a nice, little timeout. Haha.

Language: I've always got the impression MB was pretty open. Aside from the Late Night Crew, an open thread for our posters who are up when everyone else isn't, we try to keep it decent around here. If you get out of hand, don't be surprised to see one of your posts edited by a Mod. But if you ever have issue with 'em, PM them. They're good about explaining it all out.

Traffic: I'm content with what we've got for the most part. The only reason I want more traffic is for the sake of 247's business. That's the only reason.

To me, it's actually really funny to watch Warchant try and keep up with the Noles247 guys. Josh, Corey, and Tom absolutely kill it, and you can bank that every time they break a story the Warchant guys bust out the same story 8-11 mins later and try to act like they didn't rip it.

I don't know if it's like that on the other team sites, but the FSU one is comically killing warchant on a consistent basis.

We also have the best FSU posters like BushidoNole and co.

Gatorbait is really good too.

We just need more posters. Not a lot of guys have made the switch for some reason.

Rivals uses these BS ploys like having "mystery recruits" and "Signing day switch" secret things. They use scare tactics and stuff to increase site traffic to the point to where it got insulting to me.

Here the guys are straight forward and to the point. "here's what I know, here's what I think will happen and this is why"

No bullshht gets pushed on you here, that's big for me.

They also verify info before releasing so you wont see these bogus stories released.

That's the biggest thing for me. Professionalism.

Amazed it hasn't been brought up yet: You'll be interacting with 247's writers, analysts, and even their Chief Operating Officer. The interaction between staff and posters on this network is absolutely amazing. In the last 48 hours, Nebraska's site has heard from an Iowa writer, a Texas writer, and a Georgia writer -- all on our home page. That alone trumps Rivals to me.
