I used to think like you before I actually sat down and watched a couple episodes. It makes me laugh.

  • i can't watch anything with Kevin Bacon in it without thinking of Nokes. been that way since '96 - i think that role (as good as he was playing it) limited his popularity for some people.

Hey I hate Community and you seem to be it's biggest fan.

Some people just like different shows.

Edit: And if anyone on this site says that they didn't like Seinfeld, there will be e-hell to pay.

This one time I had to interrogate this dude for information, put on Big Bang theory on one television and American Idol on the other

Dude coughed up that info before the opening credits were finished

#not a true story... but it should be

  • Definitely will be watching episode 2. Episode 1 had some great moments, but I'm still not fully bought it... which is strange coming from a guy who watches things like Ultimate Fighter (which starts tonight).

I heard Kevin Bacon on Howard Stern last week (I think it was last week) and he was way more human than I would have guessed. One of the best interviews I've heard in awhile. There's a part where he discusses going to weddings and not wanting to dance that had me cracking up.

    You have to admit though.

For a series premiere episode, it was pretty damn good. Most of those series premiere episodes, hell even season premiere episodes, just set the groundwork and are fairly boring. That episode had me entertained from beginning to end. I have a lot of optimism for it.

Hopefully it doesn't turn out like Prison Break either. That show was awesome in it's first season and just went to hell after that. FOX tends to do that with shows that have all the potential in the world. They have great first seasons and just act like they forgot how to write after that.

That made absolutely no sense. Fox had gold with Prison Break. The 1st season was awesome & then it was like Fox said, lets make this as stupid as possible & piss off the audience.

I definitely think it's worth a watch. Not hating on it at all, but still want to see more before it takes up viewing time from things like Workaholics.

I understand what you're saying, but I tend to think Season Premieres act more like that than Series Premieres. If this goes to a second season, I'm betting the season opener will be just a bunch of beginnings of story lines and no action that we all hate.

  • I liked it. There are some concerning elements to it, mainly how a serial killer can establish such a network of "fans" that can conveniently infiltrate persons relevant to the case (the neighbors, nanny(?) and guard).

Will definitely overlook how far fetched it is if it remains entertaining.

  • Judging from the thread, I should at least give the pilot a shot, right?

They somewhat explained it. Now while far fetched, at least they did try and broche the subject. For some reason the serial killer was allowed access to the internet. That and I guess he turned the guard that was supposed to be monitoring his activity on the internet.

Again, doesn't make a lot of sense, but at least he's not literally stopping the world from total destruction 472 times in a 24 hour period.
