    I didn't say I didn't like him... I said he was a scumbag, HUGE difference. I've met him on quite a few occasions and he was always super friendly. He LOVED my boy. Doesn't make him a saint though. Great coach. Terrible human being.... but I like him just fine.

  • Are the Big X coaches really that sensitive about coaches going after guys committed to other schools in their conference? It was an interesting read about the amount of preferential treatment and faking injuries for failed drug tests but a good bit of it was pointing at him for being a scumbag for going after players that were committed to other schools and I just don't get that. You think other Big X coaches aren't still calling Reuben Foster since he is committed to Bama? That's a fvcking joke and Bielema and Dantonio sound like sore fvcking losers that Urban plucked players from them.

    Saban quit because he didn't like being told what to do with his football team by a general manager and owner, period. He wanted to sign Drew Brees and the gm of the Dolphins wanted Culpepper and it pissed him off. Now who looks fvcking stupid? Saban or the gm at the time?

    I could honestly give a fvck. As long as he's winning championships at Bama then I'm glad he wasn't good in the NFL. Maybe Urban can actually make Ohio State hack it against the SEC. Jim Tressell couldn't

  • So basically we have fans of a coach who quit at the 2nd highest level because he had trouble maintaining his sanity pointing out that Saban quit "at the highest level", even though he has pretty much dominated the "2nd highest level"? Gotta luv homers.

  • If you saw my first post about Bielema and Dantonio crying you'll see that I don't hate Urban Devidee. I think he's a hell of a coach and think that him and Hoke will be going after it for years. I have no hate for Urban at all personally. I don't really believe the health issue excuse that he had at Florida but I'm no doctor. He'll do good for you guys.

  • I wish I had copied all those threads on the ESPN National Board with tOSU fans trashing Urban for being such a slime bucket, and Florida fans defending him as a high character guy who LOVED Florida and would never leave!

    Oh! Oh! Oh! that would have been comedy gold right now.

    I did save that long, long list of Urbie quotes from every newspaper from every place he's ever coached, and how he "loved it here, my family loves it here...we have a lot of work to do here!" BS, only to pack up and leave a few weeks to a few days later...even his wife lies!!!

    It will happen to the Buckeyes, unfortunately.

    when meyer didnt have Mullen he sucked. When meyer didnt have Strong he sucked. When meyer didnt have Tebow HE REALLY SUCKED. Add all of these “not have's” and you have a resignation an unresignation and then another resignation.

    Meyer is done. He does not have the coaches he once did and I dont see any good coach wanting to come coach with him. The cyclones don’t count.

    Meyer just hired a high school coach from Dr phillips. What a surprise that Marcell Harris plays at Dr. Phillips and is a Gator legacy. This kid is a game changer and Urban Liar knows this and this is the only reason he hired the coach from the same high school. Meyer’s tricks are now known and it shows in his recruiting progress.

    UM is flat out destroying meyer as are the Gators.
