  • I didn't remember the dragons being that big.

They had the heads mounted in the throne room at one time so their heads couldn't be as big as a bus.

They talked about the size of the dragons in the first book and season.

I have no idea how big the Danerys dragons get.

That's not a spoiler. The book mentions that the skulls used to hang up in the throne room during the days of the old kings. Now they're stored in the storage room that Arya hid in as she hid from the two hooded characters after chasing the cat in season one.

Kinda wrong. The biggest could "swallow an auroch whole". Since an auroch is a 1500-ish pound old-school cow that stood 5'3 at the shoulders, I think the dragons got pretty freaking big to fit one in its mouth.

    Whole.

    Giant.

    Cow.

    In the mouth.

Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

Yup, I thought those were the Dragons but you could not really see them

The one fake Targaryen King talked about how they went from big to small ( their Skulls ) as you got closer to the Iron Throne

Jon Snow is my favorite character. Him and Ghost are beasts.

What a duo, can't wait till he leaves the Wall ( Im just guessing that happens, it seems obvious ) and just starts whoopin ass

No way his bro ( the new king of the north I guess ) kills him for leaving, especially since he will leave to be with him.... not to hit up the whore houses and drink wine

    I'd go

    1- Arya
    2- Jon Snow
3- King Robert's bastard that is with Arya ( Im just guessing Im going to like him )
4- Dude that is with Denaryes ( can't spell names for crap )
    5- Drogo ( RIP )

  • The first episode of season 2 was pretty great. There is a lot going on. The hour just flew by. It's been a while since i read the books, but I'm guessing this season will have stuff from book 2 & 3 since they were going on at the same time, correct?

From the books the best characters to me are:

    Tyrion Lannister
    Arya Stark
Jamie Lannister (he becomes awesome in the books)
    The Dog
    Jon Snow

Switch Arya and Jaime and you got my list. I like another character a lot too but I'm not tryna spoil anything. He hasn't been introduced in the show yet.

I deleted my post and one other one that was sort of spoilerish about the future of characters.

If you remember Arya was chasing cats when she overheard Illyrio and Varys talking. She hid in the jaws of a huge skull. It was close to bus size, imo...

  • I posted this on tRCMB, if anyone finds this helpful I may try to do this every week. If not, I'll do it this once, just trying to sum things up without giving anything away.

Kingdom is split up and warring with each other, sort of.

    Starks -
Robb headed south and is fighting the Lannisters, has won all 3 battles he has lead. Trying to get his sisters back.
Bran is left at Winterfell and when he sleeps he shifts into the body of his direwolf, Summer.
Catelyn gives Robb advice and pleads with him not to send Theon Greyjoy back to the Islands to broker an alliance with Balon Greyjoy.
Sansa is in Kings Landing and betrothed to Joffrey, not much about her in this episode except that saving the drunk knight from Joffrey at the beginning is something to pay attention to.

    Lannisters -
Jaime is still captured and meets Robb's Direwolf, Grey Wind.
Cersei is scheming and showing the type of power she has in Kings Landing, I'm not sure if this was a given, but she ordered all of Roberts bastards killed, or it is assumed she did.
Joffrey is maniacal and cruel, he knows he is king and has all the power to do what he wants. He tells Cersei that he knows his father slept around and thinks there are bastards out there. Cersei slapped him and some doubt is starting to cross her on whether or not her son will do as she wants, at least that is the way it looked. he warned her to never hit him again and that what she did was punishable by death.
Tyrion shows up whistling all over the place and he brings Bronn, the sellsword, and the tribes from the Eyrie, so he has some protection of his own and isn't too worried about his sister. He has a letter from his Father that he is the acting Hand in Tywin's place. Tyrion will not take any shit from Cersei or Joffrey.

    Baratheon's -
Renly - Calling his banners from the south, has amassed the largest army but in no rush to get to Kings Landing.
Stannis - He is portrayed as he should be. Very rigid, and by the book. He will not break any rules, and I think they try to stress that when they are writing the letters that are supposed to go out. Especially when he changes Jaime's description. Stannis is respected as a military mastermind, but no one really loves him. He listens to a priestess, which is the redhead, Melisandre. She worships R'hllor
They also introduce Davos, who plays an important part, usually speaks his mind and is about the only one who understands that Stannis won't punish people for being honest or giving an honest opinion.

    Targaryen -
Daenarys is shown heading through a desert with a small band of what is left of her Khalasar. They show one of her baby dragons as her horse dies. She sends off 3 of her officers to see what is ahead and try to find food and water or a city.

    The Wall -
Basically they show the Night's Watch trekking north of the wall, and ending up at a Wildlings house, Craster. The rules are given by Craster that none of his wives, who are mostly his daughters as well, are to be touched. Jon points out that there are no son's. Craster doesn't like Jon, and the Lord Commander takes Jon to the side and forcefully tells him he needs to listen before he can lead.

I hope I didn't put in any spoilers past this first episode. I think I covered most of it.
