  • Yeah, the producers either said eff the books or my memory is horrible. I like this better, though.

And yeah, the wildling definitely has a butterface.

You mean the part in Qarth with the dragons being taken? I don't think so, but it does wrap up a different part of the books. This show is so badass, that episode is by far the best so far. I try to do the little writeups I do from memory the next morning, and so much happened tonight I don't think I can remember it all, plus it is deviating from the books. Oh well, back to another vodka and something.

They started scraping the books from the Faceless Man's first kill, I think. Not looking back either.

I am sure they will still follow the basic outline but they are definitely changing things.

  • What about meera and jojen reed, my book timeline may be off but shouldn't they be with Bran when he escapes?

  • This is getting really good. It's very frustrating that we only get 45 minutes a week, though. I'm probably going to start the books tomorrow for that reason alone. I understand that they're different, but even if the books aren't as good, I think it will help me get my fix by getting further immersed in "that world".

Books are better other than the crazy long wait between release dates.

That's stinks. I was really looking forward o what the crannog men were going to look like. How are they going to transition into later events with bran without the green seer or whatever jojen is called.

Well there's already 5 or 6 out, right? And at about 1000 pages a piece I think it's safe to say it'll be awhile before I have to worry about that haha

That's what I thought. After the season was over last year, I read all 5 in a month. Who knows how many years till the next book comes out.
If you like to read, be prepared to get sucked in. They are hard to put down.

I think too many fans of the books are going to be upset if they are not in the show next season. Budget might have kept them out this time.

Osha has a smokin body though.

Well A Dance with Dragons came out last year and if Martin keeps up the status quo we will be waiting a while for the next one.

If 4 and 5 were written as 1 book, but split into 2, book 6 might be ready to publish in the next year or so. You have to think if GRRM agreed to have the show he has to be almost finished writing the books. If 6 comes out soon and they enter season 3 and 4 as book 3, then you could have seasons 6 - 8 as books 4 and 5, he could finish book 7 within 5 years before the series ends.
