I have read they are splitting book 3 into two seasons so I am not sure where they will end this season.

Yeah, but it should be 4 or more years before it hits TV. By then, HBO may change the script around to something different if Martin hits the can and never finishes his book..

Traps them in the bay with the wreckage of the other ships covered in wildfire.
Also it becomes Bronns coat of arms (a chain) because of that. Who knows what is going to happen now.

Nooooo. I read that he estimates about 1500 manuscript pages for the whole book,but has written 400 pages. Manuscript would be his first draft, rough outline,notes etc.

yeah that was a main part in the book, but left out of the show. They switched the wildfire to a big explosion, instead of setting the surface of the river on fire, so no need for the chain I guess.

For all of those who thought the SIXTY seconds of footage released in the Season Three trailer was to short.
I guess they caved and decided to make a extended version of the trailer!
