Good. I kind of figured. I've read book 1 and seen season 1. I've heard a couple spoilery type things, but I always got the impression that Littlefinger and Varys are much bigger players than they get credit for. That's great too, because Aidan Gillen is a phenomenal actor. In all seriousness, the scene we talked about, his acting is perfect.

Great episode. Sets up for a amazing season.
Robb Stark was just a boss in that episode. The Imp is back, and Joffrey is douchey as ever.

Great episode. Sets it up for a great season.
Killing all the bastard kids at the end was pretty brutal. I don't remember it being that brutal in the book, but it has been awhile since I read book 2.

I believe in a show like this, season premiers need to set the table for the season.
It covered a lot, not much in depth, but set it up real well.

It was background in the book. It came up in conversation that they were killing all the bastards but it never got it's own scene. Also wasn't quite so obvious in the book that they were after Gendry.

Pretty sure the killing of all the bastards happens off screen in the books.
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

I don't think they ever outright said the Gendry was Robert's bastard in the book. Could be mistaken.
Overall a solid episode that sets up the season.
The direwolfs wer the highlight episode IMO. Really liked the scene with Jamie Lannister.
Also it seems like the budget is way bigger for this season. The production value is by far the best I have ever seen for a tv show.
