Look, Conley is a great player. No doubt. Great pick up for you guys. And it sucks to lose him, but it really isn't a major loss. We have great CBs committed to us right now and are still in the mix for more.

Yup, it really sucks to be a Michigan fan. Going 8-4 with three of the losses being toss up games with the least talented Michigan team in decades really sucks. Man, how will I even be able to watch football when the #9 and #5 rated classes in the nation see the field for Michigan? Looks like it's going to be a long few seasons because Michigan lost the #17 CB in the nation who may not even play CB at OSU.

I wish we had a group of corners THAT talented. Instead, we'll just have to settle for the 6th, 7th, and 17th best corners in the nation. Woe is us.

Yeah it takes talent, but a guy like Kovacs was solid and had good instincts, but he wasn't exactly a good athlete imo. In a couple of years it's hard to imagine a guy like Dymonte not being an upgrade. Also, Demens and Morgan were solid at their position, but again Michigan has better athletes that will hit the field in the coming years. The loss of Countess kind of sucked as well.

The defensive backs, running backs, wide receivers, and offensive line were all the least talented in a couple decades. Going off from recruiting rankings the defensive backs, wide receivers, and running backs all were lack luster players. The offensive line players were, for the most part, meant for a different scheme and were overall not that good because RR didn't really recruit OL during his tenure.

From '08 until now the talent has been down significantly at Michigan. Back in '07 Michigan had 10 starters who got drafted, and this year's team has maybe 5? So yeah, I would say the talent is down.

Talent man, talent. The Rich Rod teams had talent because he was using Lloyd Carr recruits for the first couple years, doesn't mean he coached them correctly. Hoke was left with a fairly empty cupboard and without the innovation of Greg Mattison, the team wouldn't be nearly as good as it is.

Btw I would rather see Conley at WR than CB for OSU. I think he would be a good receiver for OSU, but I think he could turn into a first round CB if everything goes right. And I don't want to have to see Michigan throw against a guy like that.
