The least talented team in decades? You think the 2012 skunkbears are the least talented scUM team in decades? Is your brain blocking out the RichRod era? Or let me guess, Richie wasn't a REAL M*chigan man so his tenure didn't count, right? I'm confused...

Absolutely. Our 2008 and 2009 teams were more talented, just terribly coached.

  • Mr Woodson, how's your skill position recruiting going? As Brady Hoke once said when Urb was hired, "you know, not, Good". Your only recruiting well at LBer and OL. You won't have the athletes to match us. And our DL is going to rip your offensive line apart. Hell Adolphus Washington already owned first team all American Taylor Lewan. Can't wait until we destroy you guys next year in that shitty thing you guys call a stadium

One good play constitutes getting owned? I guess that OSU's secondary is doomed to getting owned for the rest of Hoke's tenure then. lol

  • When he ran right around him, and still caused a fumble while Lewan was holding him, yes. He got owned...

He got Lewan that one play. Lewan adjusted after that, and stonewalled him the rest of the time.

So based on that one play, Michigan's OL will never be able to contain OSU's DL is what you're saying?

Our 2010 recruiting class was for the most part bad and they're upperclassmen right now. Literally half of that class has left or been lost to injury. A good portion of the 2009 class has left also.

Not bad, plus with the awesome OL coming in it won't really matter.

Speaking of that awesome OL, how much blood did Kalis leave on the field? I thought I remembered him making a vow or pinky swear or something about that.

  • We will see how that OL does against our DL. I'm not trying to sound like a homer here, but I don't see you guys being able to keep up with us at the skill spots...

Is it his fault the coaches decided to redshirt him?

Doesn't matter, if you don't have time to get the ball to receiver, it's meaningless.

Absolutely. It means he wasn't good enough to play. Kind of alarming given the aforementioned "lack of talent".

  • We will have plenty of time to pass, especially with a mobile QB. We have talented Offensive Lineman, we just lack great depth. You will see

Its that battle specifically I can't wait to see in about 2-3 years. Your stud dline recruits vs our equivalent in oline. We pulled in solid guys last year but its the incoming that I'm looking forward to seeing. I think they will help drastically mask our (current) lack of top line rbs and wrs.

Michigan is not in bad shape at any spot on defense in terms of recruiting. But we really need an elite RB and WR. Other than that I don't have many complaints. If we manage to sign Green then my only real complaint will be about getting a top 5 type of receiver.

You talking stonewalled like how Michigan couldn't get the ball across the 50 yard line in the 2nd half against a Fickell defense that is led by one of the worst coach in America according to some Michigan fans?

Or the 228 rushing yards the scrap OL Meyer would be left with that manage to compile against the Wizard Mattison lead Defense?

However if Michigan does miss on Green I think they should give Dymonte a long hard look at RB as that kid can get it done at RB. Can we make a trade for him?

It was more Borges sucking than it was OSU playing good D.

Mattison is a wizard, look at what he has done with our D since he has gotten on campus. I don't know how you could even say it isn't impressive.

No. Dymonte is ours. biggrin I wouldn't trade him for anybody in your class, fwiw. (before you get all mad, no, that does not mean I think Dymonte is better than all of your commits. It just means Dymonte is an amazing player at a position of need.)

  • I'm also talking about your Defensive backs. Dymonte Thomas is good, ill give you that. But who do you have at CB? 5'7 Terry Richardson? I think Jarrod Wilson was an Ok prospect, he could be good. But that's all you have...

Our CB commit Channing Stribling is a beast. He's the 3 star gem of our class, much like how you buckeye fans think you Tracy Sprinkle is 3 star gem.

But I mean look at our secondary right now. Two 3 stars, a walk on, and a 4 star make up our #2 ranked pass defense.

Based on that, I'm not concerned with our secondary recruiting at all.

I'm just razzing Mattison has done a great job with the hand he was given. The only thing that I notice is your defense gets out flanked and loses leverage a lot especially with mobile QBs.

I tell you what it's going to be interesting to see how Dymonte does in the All Star game since he didn't hit the camp circuit.
