Shane will have his chance to prove to us what he can do in the UA game. But right now, I look at his stats and see more ints than TDs. What do you think is going to happen when the game speed cranks up a few more notches? He has the arm strength, but lacks consistent accuracy. I watched him play ignatius and he didn't look good at all. He was afraid to sit in the pocket. It's to early to tell if this kid will be good in college. Is he good? Yea. Is he a 5-star QB? Not even close..

So who do we trust? The scouts of the big 4 recruiting websites, who make a living projecting how players will perform at the next level, or you? Who is more biased? Who has to put their reputation on the line when handing out rankings?
Perhaps the reason Morris didn't perform well against Iggy is because his entire OL was overmatched and his receivers couldn't get any separation? He has always performed well when equal talent was out around him.

This is probably close to how things went down. Urbs missed on his #1 choice for S (Dymonte Thomas) and was hoping to reel in his second choice (Vonn Bell). But now, with Bell slipping away too, he has been forced to move Burrows to S and go after Conley. I don't blame him, because Conley should develop into a solid CB, but it does make you wonder what's going on with OSU recruiting. First, it was trouble pulling OL. Then you guys missed across the board on LB. And now it's S. Urbie better get this straightened out soon or OSU will have major holes all over its roster in a couple years.
We are both atheists. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours

I've always found that in moments of heated contention the truth typically lies somewhere in the middle. My guess is that Shane Morris is a 5 star quarterback the way Chad Henne was a 5 star quarterback. Good, but not THAT good. He'll do good things at scUM and leave the school with a winning record against all but one or two of the Big Ten teams he faces. Chad Henne 2.0. Now he needs to get himself an overbearing girlfriend with an unhealthy obsession for Christmas cards and a cozy pair of pajamas.

BOOYAH! I prefer facts, and I enjoyed 26-21, 12-0, & now ranked #4 in the country in recruiting! I remember when scUM signed a shit ton of kids early on and those punks running their pole smokers about how Urbs can't hang with cHoke! Well Urbs beat the lard off cHoke on the field and he currently is running him in the recruiting game, just like last year. Was just a matter of time, we all knew it! Suck some you scUMbags!

He didn't have Mono the first few games.
And yes, it feels great to pass up ttun in recruiting. We're going to leave them in the dust come signing day. Mike Mitchell and Trey Johnson should be commited to us very soon. It wouldn't shock me if they both commited this week. And Shelton Gibson is a lock, just waiting for his scores.
