Yea we are, I think most would considering he was the best QB in the nation last year. We were around 65 last year and had a pretty good offense so Hack will be able to put up big numbers. He'll have plenty of talent around him, you mentioned Breneman and we except big things from him. We have the best receiver in the Big 10, the best TE, and some other real good young guys that we are expecting some big things from. Recruiting this year is going real well too.

Yea I mean obviously the OSU, Michigan, Wisconsin and Nebraska games will be tough, but I think we can win one or two of those and we should be favored in all of our other games.

IMO the question mark is going to be the new guy with the headset upstairs, not the guys on the field. Butler is young, and there will probably be some changes from Roof, so hopefully the guys can handle it. The DTs aren't as strong this year as they have been in recent years, but our DEs are going to be solid to good, and I'm optimistic about our LBs.
Replacing Mauti and Hodges will be tough, but Carson is pretty darn good himself and Hull/Wartman on the outside is pretty exciting. Just can't have any significant injuries to the LB corp this year.
8 is the right number though IMO.

Definitely agree that there will be an adjustment with Butler now running the defense, but I think he'll do a good job. He did a nice job with the secondary last year.
