While I agree with your premise I would still argue that Georgia, Florida, SC and AU are all better than mediocre. I think all four are a cut below LSU, Bama and Arky but all four teams will be better than they were last year and could potentially make some serious noise.

Georgia is definitely mediocre and Im not trying to offend anyone but the past 2 yrs they've lost to Colorado,UCF,Boise State, and Michigan State...Auburn is definitely mediocre especially after barely beating Utah State (again, not trying to offend), Florida is mediocre and wasn't very good at all and should've been shut out by FSU and wasn't very good at all (d was solid at times)...South Carolina I need to see more from them but they would be a little above all the other teams.

Your not offending me, I'm a Bama fan. AU was mediocre last year but they were replacing Cam and basically had a bunch of first year starters on their OL. They have signed talent over the years and just need some experience. If Florida gets an offense that works they are a team to watch out for. Their defense will be really good this year. South Carolina will probably be a little bit worse than last year due to the studs they lost on the DL and Alshon but their qb has some game experience now and is talented so who knows. You never know with UGA. They have plenty of talent but Richt seems to find some way to screw it up. They still only lost three games last year (I think) but the SEC East was way down last year compared to other years. Those four teams may not blow anyone away but they all have the potential to be better and I'm pretty sure all but maybe USCe will be better than they were last year.

I love how UGA losing to Boise and Michigan St all of a sudden makes them mediocre. Their 4 losses this year were to teams that averaged 12 wins.
Plus, the B1G team that barely beat them has been consistantly the top team in that conference over the last few years.
Top 10 teams (USCe) are usually mediocre though. If true that would mean there were only 8 teams above average last season.

UGA also lost to Colorado and UCF the yr before as well...I was just saying they have to prove something to me for me to buy into they are better than they actually are. Also, Michigan state has not been consistently the top team in the BIG. Last yr they were solid, the yr previous they lucked out they didn't play OSU and yrs before that they've beena middle of the pack team in the B1G. They have just had Wisconsins # as of late.

Over the last 3 years, MSU is a game better than tOSU and even with Wisky, but holding the edge in head to head, so I would think that would make them the top team over the last 3 years.
You could also say tOSU didn't have to play them last year also. Works both ways.
On UGA. Can a team be better one year than the previous? Is that possible? I would hope so for urbs sake. If not, make sure the AED is on the sidelines.

There is a difference comparing a team that had a assistant d coordinator that has 0 head coach experience take the reigns in May and ask a lot out of him as opposed to a season vet especially one that won 2 national titles in 3 yrs. Richt has been there for yrs with his system in place and no turmoil around the program so your argument there is totally irrelevant....also,OSU was a much better team than Mich St in 2010 hands down.

No one cares about the situation. Results are what matter. Also, Wisconsin might not agree with you there. Don't confuse opinion and fact. Let's stick to what we know, not what you think.

Ok and what I know is over the past 2 yrs UGA has lost to Colorado,UCF,Boise, and Mich State out of conference games(which leads me to know they are mediocre)....what YOU think is that UGA is above mediocrity and might be better next yr so sounds like you are confused.
And if you don't think Tressel getting fired and OSU's assistant d coordinator taking the reigns with the starting qb from the past 3 yrs getting kicked off the team with 5 more starters being suspended for the better half of the season had 0 effect on OSU's season last yr then I question your logic.
