    Yep. Not to rehash, but that's what's so frustrating about being a VT fan.

    Only VT can physically punish an opponent, dominate the statistics, leave no doubt who the better team is......and find a way to lose.

    This guy is the only one who gets it. VT completely outplayed us that game. The fact that you still lost and have to point to one blown call says wayyyyy more about your team than it does ours.

    You shut down Denard just like every other half decent defense the past two years, do you want a medal for that? Your offensive line didn't get it done when it mattered, and Logan Thomas blows balls.

    The same program that landed a whopping 3 of the top 15 kids in their home state according to the composite?

    People really overestimate a team's current success in how it affects a recruits decision. Sure it plays a role, but a staff can spin it into a positive one way or another whether the team is good or bad. Therefore, all the things you just said may be correct, and they may be a deterrent to you, but clearly they aren't for this kid who has them out in front. Really that's all that matters. Plenty of time to go, and he hasn't even visited UM yet, but clearly it won't be as simple as you just laid it out to be.

    They want to talk crap about the Sugar Bowl from 2 years ago... which we won and they just had an abysmal season to follow that loss up.

    If you were a member of our boards you would know that we knew we were in trouble after our game with you...and our games with Clemson...we only played 2 teams with half pulses in 11 and lost to both of them because our O coaches were so inept. Clemson was not very good but we made them look like world beaters, and no offense but you all weren't very good either, but you won so you were better than us. Bud Foster deserved better and finally got it after we did play horrible in 2012...and to end the 11 season with losses to Clemson and Michigan.

    At least know something about a program before you run your mouth. You look like a fool with this post. VT recruiting has been better than ever the past couple years (including the class that signs tomorrow). Our best coaches & recruiters are still in tact and we jsut brought in some fresh offesnive coaches....so yes, I would say the future is bright.

    I know we're not big bad Michigan, which everyone is so damn impressed with these days, but hey....its something, right?

    Other programs have been taking talent out of VA for a long time. This isnt anything new. Youre a fool for mocking VT's future. When in reality, VT has more talent in the program now and coming in the future than ever before. We also finally got rid of some coaches that were holding us back on the offensive side of the ball, all the while keeping all our D coaches intact. Therefore there is no reason to believe VT's future will be anything but bright.

    What makes you feel you were the "better team"? I just can't understand how in any way you were the better team.

    Our offenses were equally crappy. Our coaches weren't. Michigan outscored you.

    So what makes you better again?

    Michigan played their worst game of the season and still managed to win the game. I'm struggling to find out the logic for how you were a better team.

    Special teams play counts in games.

    VT's special teams were turrible. Missed FG, turnover on kick return leading to points, fake punt leading to points. VT screwed the pooch in a lot of areas that game.

    Yes, they have been, but if you are trying to get to a level where you're competing for a BCS Bowl bid year in, year out, locking down talent in your homestate is crucial.

    In 2012 You got 9 of the top 15 players in state, and only 3 or 4 this year.

    That's not a good trend.

    I'm not saying your class is bad, because it's not, but it's hard to keep trying to have 3 stars overachieve every year.
